Ahhhh, interesting. How will you be getting across the pond? Channel Tunnel or Felly closs the Mersey? We will be travelling on the Thursday I think. P.S. I know this is strictly off topic now. My bad. :nono:
  2. I think if the crank pulley bolt had broken it would have been a more alarming sound to the engine stalling. Plus I would imagine it would be very obviously not right as soon as soon as you tried to restart it.
  3. Seeing as you are about 5 miles away it seems a bit silly not to have a look. It would be handy to have one in any condition at the moment as I've ordered some coilvers today and next week it will be a bit lower. If its not too badly damaged I'd be happy if the price is right.

Never been to Croft but you've got your work cut out changing my mind about Brands. The Paddock-Druids combo is pretty hard to beat. Better than Eau Rouge at Spa. Talking of which, I'll be heading there in the trusty Rado for the GP this year. :smug:

Brands is my most local track. Luckily for me as its the best track in the world. Ever. Fact.
  6. Ok mate, sounds good. Is your car the one parked around on the road near Broadwater? Charmandean Road maybe? Not been into Worthing for a while but don't see many Rados around our way. I'll certainly come and have a look and make you an offer you might be able to refuse. :norty:

The whole BTCC support package is awesome. Those Ginetta G55s. :notworthy:

BTCC? Oh, you mean circuit banger racing. Better than F1 anyday.
  9. I know there was a fairly recent epic fail from a similar request, but thought I'd try my luck anyway. If nobody has one in good condition that they would be willing to part with, does anybody else know if they are still available from anywhere? Thanks!
  10. I was thinking they would look good with the black centres on my white C.
  11. The rotas are more like minilites. They're pretty old school. I've seen them on a jetta but never a rado.
  12. Has anybody ever seen a Rado with a set of Rota RBs fitted? I have wondered how they would look ever since they were released but still can't find any pics of it done. It's one of those styles that could work but equally could look completely pants.
  13. I'm really sorry Baron. I did see your post on the other thread and replied yesterday with a price. I also saw that you offered £60 this morning when I started this thread but I was offered full asking price shortly after and didnt think I needed to message you directly, but maybe I should have done. When I accepted the full offer your post was still showing as offering £60. I thought it would be fair to sell them to the first person offering full price but I should have asked if you wanted them for that price as you showed first interest. Very sorry.
  14. I have a set of hub adaptors that are no longer required. They are made by FK, 25mm thick, and adapt from 4x100 to 5x130. I had them on my car from brand new for around 7-8000 miles so they are in good condition. Complete with 4 bolts for each adaptor and a set of 20 radius(?) bolts which were used for Porsche D90 wheels. I believe these adaptors are £80 per pair new, so I was thinking £70 for the set, or £75 posted. Open to offers though. Cheers.
  15. I think they are £80 per pair new, so how about £70 for all four? They are 7000 miles old and in good condition. You can have all the bolts I have too. What do you reckon?
  16. Hi mate. I just measured the tread on the rear tires and they are between 3 and 4mm. Thats after about 7000 miles though so they have a good amount of life left in them. Just wanted you to have all info before buying. Its a shame about the fronts, as they have loads left all across the tire but worn on the outer edges. Need to get the allignment looked at. Also, the wheels have flush fit valves so I'll put the adaptor in with them too. I can have them packaged up today and will be in tomorrow (tuesday) and Thursday so courier collection for then would be good. I'll PM address and paypal info. Cheers.
  17. Actually, thinking about how much I paid for them and the price of adaptors and tires, I would be happy with £250.
  18. Fair enough. Would do them for £295 at a push but wouldn't want to go lower than that. If you think I'll struggle to get that then I might keep them. ;)
  19. Thats ok, no worries. Do you think £325 without adaptors sounds fair? Haven't had any other interest so far so they are yours if you want them.
  20. Sorry, I thought the D90s were 5x112 but maybe not. The adaptors definitely fit anyway. They are FK adaptors which are 25mm wide and made of aluminium. I can package them up for a courier, no problem. Would they need to be on a pallet or would they be ok individually wrapped in cardboard? Cheers. Matt.
  21. Decided it's time for a change so my D90s are up for sale. I bought them last year and refurbed them myself. Rubbed down to bare metal, sprayed in zinc primer, then paint primer and painted in BMW sparkling graphite which I think looks awesome. Finished with a few coats of laquer. Also fitted brand new black centre caps. I'm no professional refurber but I was very pleased with how they came up. Since I refinished them, they have taken some punishment, as can be seen in the photos. It's only the outer rims which have been curbed a few times, and on one wheel its most of the way round. It shows up more because they are dark coloured. The wheels are atraight though, and generally in good condition. If I was to buy these now and didn't want to pay for a refurb, I would rub down the curbed parts and just respray them in the same colour which is available from anywhere, including Halfrauds. If you were to go the extra mile and fill the scuffs before spraying then they would look great. I also have a set of 25mm FK 4x100 to 5x112 hub adaptors so they can be fitted to a G60. All bolts needed for the adaptors and wheels are present. The wheels are 16", 8" wide on the rear and 7" front. The tires are all 195/45/16 so as to keep the same footprint all round. This gives a nice stretch on the rears too. The tires are Continental Contisports. The rears are in good condition but the fronts are no slick on the outer edges. I found them for £65 each delivered online. Looking for £375 with adaptors and bolts. Open to offers. Collection from Lancing, West Sussex. Thanks for looking.
  22. Thanks, thats very kind. Unfortunately mine are different. I think they are thinner with a plain shank all the way to the bottom.
  23. Was 92 the year they changed from early to late? I think thats why mine is so difficult to get the correct parts for.
  24. :morning: Its a 92 G60 which makes it......late? I'll ask my local stealer in case they are still available.
