Ive deleted all the history etc.... i tried that 1st before posting up about it. Its till doing it, even now. Glad its not just me with the issue...thought my sister had fiddled with the settings or something! Its just this forum i have the problem with the whole logging me out all the time.
-
I dont know if its just me having this problem but when ever i go to a new page i have to log back in again. I log in as usual at the top then click new posts, i then have to log in again and repeat this several times until i can view new posts, then i click to view a thread and i have to log back in again likewise if i click to see page 2. Same happens when i post a new thread. Any ideas what it may be??

I dont know if you can tell from this photo but its a top down one.... Everything else is fine so no cables needed :)
-
Im after the actual plastic box as ive snapped the top of it where the pipes connect to. Postage to Peterborough PE7 :)
-
Its just sourcing one now....means it puts back getting my car on the road aswell now. Doesnt help having 10days in Ibiza next month aswell!!!
-
I pulled it a bit 2 hard not realising the pipes were caught on the firewall and it snapped the plastic on the top...DOH!!! I may just bypass the heater matrix for now and come back to it :(
-
Ive now gone and broke the actual heater box.....i have no luck at all :(
-
Indeed it is!! Get paid this Wednesday so doing a few bits...heater matrix, fuel filter, oil filter, pollen filter, plugs, distributor, leads, 2 new tyres, mot and tax :D Fingers crossed it all comes together for me in the 2 days ive got booked off lol

Havnt updated this for a while now so thought it was about time. Im now rid of the high maintance girlfriend so can afford to spend money on the Corrado...YEY!! After 15months of being tucked away in the garage, a change of clutch, new battery and a tinker with the idle she runs rather well :) Started 1st time aswell! Forgot how harsh the ride is on coilovers though lol. Thanks to Sam (Quicky1980) for everything he has done to the car!! Fixed, cleaned and test driven.... A day after it's working, the heater matrix decided to go...the joys!!! So out comes the dash ready to replace that Thats where its at now. Just needs a good service and 2 new tyres ready for an MOT :)

Thats brilliant!!! Bit confused why my search didnt bring anything up :S Never mind, Thank you!!!!
-
Ive done a search, even looked on the wiki submission for heater matrix and its not there. Will take a look for the one you mentioned behind the centre bit, cheers :)
-
Im in the process of removing the dash but having problems. Ive been told its just 6 bolts. Ive got the 2 in the side and the 2 in the bulk head but any ideas where the other 2 are??

I wish my insurance was as low as everyone elses :( Im 22, driving 5yrs, 1yrs ncb, 1 vandalism claim, live in a low risk area, park in a garage at home and secure works car park, work in an insurance call centre, 6000miles a year and im paying £1050 TPFT mods declared (exhaust and coilovers)!!!

Admiral wouldnt touch me as my car is lowered by more than 5cm so ive gone with HIC. Performance direct were £400 more expensive than HIC and brentacre £300 more expensive.
-
Tired all of them and didnt really rate any premium wise and none were willing to match the price HIC gave me. I was with Brentacre last year and its nice to deal with a small broker like that :) I also work in insurance but its household sales and service and pet insurance....mainly household service, but if anyone wants help let me know too :)

I think it looks real sweet sitting that low :)
-
Excellent will check it out, thanks :)

Does anybody know how i go about by passing the heater matrix as a temporary fix for a few weeks? Dont know if it makes any difference but its a 1.8 16v rado :)
-
Sam aka Quicky1980 came round and fixed the rado after 15months of being sat in the garage. New clutch in, new slave cylinder, tweek with the idle and she works well :) now just to service her ready for the mot! Big thanks to sam for sorting out the car for me, really appreciate it!!
