9A Idling Issues - still a problem, getting annoyed now!

I to have the exact same idle issue on my corrado I have change icv throttle body and metering head and still no joy the strange thing is if I turn the car off and restart it it idles perfect for aprox 5 minuets then it all of a sudden starts to rais to 1100 rpm again I have orders a temp sensor so will try that next and see how that goes hopefully that should solve it but I am not holding my breath so keep us posted If you fix the issue with a bit off luck we can get to the bottom of it -

I have discovered a short on the headlight switch loom when ignition is turned on the brown wire turns to live also when I flash my main beam my sidelights come on? anyone any ideas I have ruled out the stalk as I have unplugged it then tried it and there is still a fault with the headlight loom. I am swaying towards a fusebox issue but just wonderd if anyone else has had a similar problem?

mine is a dragon green 2.0 16v only had it on the road for two weeks as the pervious owner had it laid up since 2005 and cheers for the heads up on the ebaylink your a star :)
