1992 J i've had 3. 2 Late Spec 1 Early.

got em love em!

I wonder if the reason was the two concealed holes for the first aid kit and the warning triangle??? Hmmmmm..... Makes you wonder why so many have them missing....

Plugs, leads, oil, all belts and tensioners and a Oil Cooler (all for peace of mind) Chip and pulley (smaller pulley means you'll need a new belt anyway to eradicate the worlds most annoying squeak, Trust me I have said squeak) With these few little things you'll have a nicely serviced engine and peace of mind and a charger that spools up a bit faster to get things moving a bit quicker!
-
service wise or faster wise??

Have a look at the buyers guide for you PSI checks on your charger. http://wiki.the-corrado.net/the_corrado ... klist.html If all is good then do a compression test. If that's all good Stick a oil cooler on it. (Unless it already has one) Drive it like you stole it and save some £££ till the charger needs rebuilding. (Keep checking the PSI, She'll let you know when she's tired) Then spend some £ making it fast! G-Werks http://www.g-werks.com/Site/Default.asp ... ces_glader Jabba http://www.jabbasport.com/superchargers.php That explains the stages a little better. Welcome to G60 ownership! You're gonna LOVE IT!

Sun is shining.... Gave her a quick wash.... Getting ready to strip out her engine for the new shell so thought i'd enjoy her today, Turn a few heads etc.... Did I turn heads????? Oh yes I did!!   On no wait hang on..... People were staring because she detonated a coolant hose sat in traffic in the middle of Chorlton! :censored: :brickwall: :censored: :mad2: Also who the f**k at VW decided to hide the hose that run's to the matrix right next to the fire wall less then a mm away from a loom and god knows what else!???? Still love her but for f*ck sake she doesn't love me!! :epicfail:

Right i'm re shelling my G60. So basically what should I replace whilst everything is out?? The engine is pretty darn solid so not looking to re build anything internally... Charger will be getting re built later this year... All belts have been done within the past few months. So it's pretty much anything outside of the engine i'm looking at upgrading/replacing to prevent failure in the future. I'm kinnda asking what you guys think I should be replacing. My list so far consists of. Samco Hoses (New radiator on the shell is a top fill so gonna need custom hoses) BBM rsr outlet Kit (My Silencer Leaks) Oil Cooler Kit (I'm Not being cheap but i'm only really replacing what needs to be replaced  ) If you could add to the list it'd be much appreciated.

Page 4 First post. but if you go outside and look at your rado , look at the rear bumper where it meets the wheel arch and you will see that the arches stick in about 1/2" from the bumper....i have had them flared so it is flush........ when i poke a pic when it is finished you will see...it is only a subtle mod and hopefully a good one!!!

Having owned a 2l 16v and currently owning a G60 and having driven a few VR6's... I'd say set your budget go and look at a few drive a few troll the forums and read what's what then make up your mind. Everybody has their own opinion on what is best but at the end of the day you've got to own drive and maintain it. All corrado's are buggers to get parts for. All corrado's are getting a bit old now. But all corrado's are different, The only thing that remains the same no matter what engine it has is how bloody good you feel driving them! Happy Hunting! Looking is the fun bit!

Found an amazing place that replaced all the belts re attatched my power steering pump (inc new bracket from vw) removed my oil cooler as it was leaking :confused4: re did the gear linkage full service greased and tightened my wheel bearings and re affixed a anti roll bar drop link and a few other bits!    Needless to say she's purring like a kitten and feeling toight like a tiger! Just spent the evening pulling a interior loom to bits (thankyou so so much henny) Found that the bits i need to replace are sooooo easy to swap (famous last words????) So butchered buh bye and hello original! The simple tart it up a bit has now turned into a full on gut the bad and replace with original goodness! Next big thing is the dreaded MOT! :help:

Have you heard the higher contrast mix of that? It's immense! Also random fact... The lyrics from something good was sampled from a Kate Bush track.
