do you have a part number by any chance?

Being new to 60 ownership i'm wondering if 110 on the temp gage (not the oil temp) too hot?? I know there is alot going on under there but i feel that that is pretty darn hot! It's only when in traffic as soon as i'm on the move it cools down straight away and sit's at 1/2 way on the temp gauge... Never had the temp warning light on but i'm wondering if maybe my fan switch/thermo sender is out???

my new door is early spec. I was worried that my 92 60 would have the late spec doors.... lol it's got the bumpers and bonnet but not the dash or the interior.... :brickwall:

That's a bit harsh, I have dyslexia and even though my spelling could be alot worse i often make mistakes... Would you really utilise grammatical error as a reason to ignore a thread?

dear god dont take it to awesome, horror story isnt the word. i wont start a rant about my car but long and short of it is that they're bodges have finally beaten me and im having to break the car. Am Gutted. can you not change the belts yourself? Possibly...... Need the bently manual though. Not into relying on old VW timing marks! lol

I've heard nothing but horror storys about Awesome!... I'll just have to find myself a good garage I guess. Suppose i'm just nervous as the 60 is not your normal engine...

I THINK I'M GOING TO BANKRUPT MYSELF SORTING OUT THIS 60! Drives like a dream.... needs a bit of body work.... But f**k me i didn't expect to find these problems! The reason for this http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... 19&t=77549 is it seems the loom behind the dash has been butchered just to get a sterio live! (no heated rear screen, butchered and sacrificed for the sterio) The reason for this http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... 15&t=77564 is self explanitory.... Guessing it was not noticed during the engine swap.... But i will have to replace ALL of the belts as the've had power steering fluid chucked allover them! On top of those problems. I can't find the ABS light (the facia is there but the loom bulb light backing is missing) There are spacers gasket glued to the discs! (could be the cause of the abs problems hence removal of the light) Find me a hole to crawl in and die...... I need motivation! All I can think of is..... I love the colour and she looks great on the rm's!

so do you think that i could use say a early 16v loom to re do my g60 one?

I'm just scared to take it to a cowboy..... My usuall mechanic who i've been going to for years just laughed at me when i rolled up in the 60. He had one blow a charger whilst he was moting it in the 90's and ever since then he won't touch one! lol.
