  1. I did stress quality of finish was important as they are going on road cars and James assured me he would strive to ensure we were happy.
  2. A new OE 15" Speedline for comparison. Any techo whizz put the pics side by side please
  3. Thanks Matt, I've really enjoyed attending the shows this year and its greatly appreciated when the car is well received.
  4. I think they look great just like the OE Speedline but with presence, I love the depth of the centre recess and I agree flat caps would look great if we all agreed on that we could perhaps source something suitable or get them made
  5. Same here too, Stealth fitted one from GSF to mine but it failed very quickly and developed the symptoms described in this thread. Had to buy a genuine replacement and refurb it together with associated parts, not thrilled. Don't skimp on key parts
  6. Spoke to James, first 5 sets should be sent out this week subject to payment of outstanding balance, the rest early next week perhaps. Expect a call folks. Thanks Gareth
  7. Agreed very supportive knowledgable and friendly
  8. I think its 8 paid but still going ahead at the agreed price. The group buy period is now closed
  9. really is very nice, you have a good eye for detail :notworthy:
  10. Great result, where did you get it from?
  11. Those Brembos are big ass callipers, looks like ET33 or 32 would fit but can understand the wiggle room.
  12. I am a retained consultant on Andy's car, nice isn't it
  13. Cheers Ben Did the visit go OK? Did all of you get over? Who's paid now
  14. OK, here's the definitive info. I have just got off the phone to James and this is the position. We have negotiated the following To be included in this group buy an order and deposit must be placed by absolutely no later than Friday 3rd September. After that date a production run will have commenced and the one off price will not be repeated. However as long as the Group buy procceds smoothly individuals who miss the deadline mayl be able to secure some discount if contacting James @ Compomotive and mentioning the group buy. They will not however get close to the price of the group buy The best news of all and the hard part to secure.I was anxious that all members who place orders on time well before the deadline should not miss out if for some reason we fell short of the 9 required. We now have an assurance that if you order and pay a deposit before 03/09/10 the order will be processed at the agreed price regardless. Please lets support this generous discount and confirm our orders. Thanks
  15. Here is a pic James sent me of the Silver, he descibed it as a high gloss silver (its a staight finish not metal flake like sparkle) BTW slightly off topic but these 6 spokes would look a little more butch as an upgrade for the Solitudes on a Storm He also added if you should want a specific colour shade we can always supply you the wheels in the ready prepped and primed undercoat finish , enabling you to paint them what colour you see fit?
  16. The first pic is with Kevs big AP brakes elsewhere I posted a diagram with the stock 280s with loads of space
  17. They've come up very nice, be gentle when refitting
  18. Thanks Paul, perfectly describes the Corrado a Modern Classic
  19. 5x100 ET 35 in Silver for me. Could all the confirmed interested parties contact James within the next 2 weeks to confirm their orders Thanks
  20. Thanks means a lot from someone who knows their way around a Corrado as well as you.
  21. try the Corrado badge first using double sided trim tape, it will look fine and be easy enough to remove if you need to. I'd forget the centre VW badge if you've plated over the recess. Yes you can stick on a substitute but its always going to look like a stuck on substitute.
  22. Hmm yh, I had considered the recess being a problem but wasnt sure if anyone has refitted their old badges. I suppose I could still get the Corrado, G60 and supercharged badges back on, but probably wouldnt look the same without the VW one in the middle It actually looks very good with all combinations but certainly no VW badge but Model badging looks good
