A real fan of the rat look mk1's 2's and 3's. And loving roof racks. However, as i have no intention of a rat look corrado, i am limited for space inside the car, and after a thought of all the stuff i need for camping at inters this year, i thought a roof rack/bars :cuckoo: may be of assistance, maybe something a lil different too. Does anyone have any idea where i could get either a rack or bars for my c, or what racks fit from other vw's. Haters are welcome to comment :grin:

Cheers mate, i definantly agree with the 15's looks so much better. The car is just gonna keep getting cleaner, im starting on the bay soon, will get pics up. :)

huh? got any pics of the camo badge on the car? I quite like the idea. Yeah, there is a pic on here of it http://prept.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=434.0 Ill try get some more, it looks good on the car, alot of people like it, gets loads of attention, im thinking of getting a couple of them done in differnt camo colours, then i can switch em round, depending on how i feel, lol :lol:

Thanx, the b1's are cool, but im prefering the b2's hopefully get my rm's on for the summer and maybe some polished porsche teledials for next winter. Im a wheel whore really lol

Anyone with a side exit? Few questions: How does it sound? How many silencers? How did you do it?

put any straight through system on then remove one ht lead so its missfiring and it will sound just like a scooby. Ha ha :lol: I dont want it to sound like a scooby, n i dont exactly wanna be on 3 cylinders. But thanx, for all your usefull help? :D Im going to take A silencer out next week, then play with some different back boxes.

How wide are the wheels?

Im looking for a sporty back box, that makes the car grumble on idle. Not like the performance sound of really deep and smooth sound. But sort of like a scooby on start, just sound is a bit slower and not as crisp as a scooby. My mate had one on his astra gte years back and it was the best sounding car ive ever heard. Just havnt heard any exhausts sound like that again. Anyone got any ideas?

Anyone converted there kr 16v to carbs, what do i need? how hard is it?

Time for some more pics, cos finally got the cv joint fixed, and then got the steels on, feel much better having the 15's on, really was not enjoying the 17's

I dono, hopefully getting it on the rollers at college soon, i think it was supposed to be 190 outta gti engineering, but its done atleast 130k since then, im thinking around 150 now, my mates 187bhp mk4 golf, just pulls away. lol opting for a rebuild in the future and hoping for a g60 16v with a syncrho system, but... chassis first, do the brakes and suspension next
