ive got a 92 g60, its got a all signing and dancing 1.9 engine, recently I have noticed an annoying ticking sound coming from it, it happens when I press on the accelerator pedal and more so when I press on it hard, any ideas on how I can rectify this and where the sound is coming from? cheers Pete

good ideas, never even thought of gloss! ive had a go with tipex it was okay but not very accurate. what are the pens like vr6dude? if you can get one in white and one in yellow that'd be cool. preferably quite thick (like the gloss) coz the liquid chalk pens arent that weather resistant (like the ones from the bike shops)

ive been tryin to get my c to look like an old school racer and wightening your tyre brand is a cheap way to get major enhancement, But what to use? to get the whitest, longest lasting chalk for your tyre? heres what i tried: ebay pen (liquid chalk): 7/10 for brightness, lasts about 1-1 1/2 weeks tip-pex: 8.5/10 for brightness, lasts about 3/4 weeks any idea what he manufacturers use or have you any tips and tricks?

Looking to get some fatty 15" alloy wheels posibly 8/9 inches upfront and 9/10 inches outback. anybody have any suggestions on offsets, im currently looking at some compomotive split rims: 2no. 15" x 9": PCD of 4x 98, offset ET -7, 58mm centre bore, 110mm backspace. 2no. 15" x 10": PCD of 4x 98, offset ET -25, 58mm centre bore, 110mm backspace. need wobbly bolts but anything else to make them fit apart from some arch work. Know of any other wheel options??? want to get rid of my oz futuras (staggared 17's)

green one , going roundabout toward ystrad mynach, looked shiney!
-
probably like this just a bit over the tyre on the rear and tucked in the front. bit of poke as they'll be my show/summer rims :D
-
probably want it to appear slightly higher at the back and squated down at the front. the rears arches sitting half way over the tyre. a bit like the stance you got in your sig zak. how much arch work would these require you reckon with the sizes outlined by dukest
-
here they are anyway

im a kinda crazy guy :cuckoo:  just weighing up the options, forgot to add the et, there 55 and i think the furthest you can go up to is a 45 with 17" on a c (should be 38 allowing for 7mm each side) the rear arch needs repair work so im thinking of getting the arches remade anyhows. wouldnt be just a rolling jobby im guessing?

ive just bougth some porsche fitment 3 piece oz futuras off a porsche (5x130). they are 7.5x17 on the front with 9's on the rear. the tyres which are on there are fronts 225- 45- 17 and rears are 245 -45-17. my car is a 92 g60 with 4x100. theres a few avenues which i could go down to get em to fit: 1) buy adaptors 4x100 - 5x130 2) fill and redrill 3) i have a 96 golf vr6 brake set-up with carriers, calipers, stud axles, discs and pads which would take it to 5x100 which is closer an give me 8mm more on the brakes but would leave me not being able to fit my originals for winter and leave me in the same non fitting predicament 4) cut the whole middle out, weld in a new plate and cut to 4x100 5) or sell them :( what do you guys think, i havent got a large budget but i am mainly conserned about safety? :confused4:

-
you tease! you know i said, nice bolf, ive just had a closer look at your side picture thing, didnt realise it was a corrado, the light just seems to cut the back end off and make it look like a mk 4 with a bore conversion on it... :cuckoo:
-
it look cool man, unsure of the yellow against the green but if you were dying to do it id go for it on the outside indicators. in your photoshops i reckon your lights a way too dark, a lighter tint would look better and functionally better aswell!
-
cool, is it underwraps for then...?

i spotted one
