Its alright.. a nice purple colour got electric recaros too.. know she wants it turbo'ed so of coarse i have to oblige.. justed e-mailed my order to the states.. what you been up to old bean.. got any trick bits for me?? didnt see you at no rice matey??

Yep its me Mr i luv 20v t and yep i brought a Vr6 .. just to see what all you guys are yacking on about .. and well.. i like it .. so I'll take all the criticisms back there really quite nice.. bit to slow though so I'm starting a new project a vr6 turbo.. ha haa more turbos luv it.. easy people.. still preffer my 20v though Andy

    Well your not slow .. I understand what your saying.. to be honest i wouldnt try and put that sort of power down at low speeds thats why i use my boost controller.. youve got me thinking now... i normal have a hack around the track a sbd westfield .. i might have to try one of these gti club days instead.. how much is it for the day..???     I've had 210 in my old mk1 .. it wasnt perfect but i wasnt spining the wheels up all the time .. I find with a good suspension set up you can get the power down nicley.. I've had a few words with Maurice reeves and hes pointed me in the right direct.. my old car was dailed..i'm just going to do the same with my c... maybe you need to look at the suspension setup chap .. i dont think you'd be doing the same to some one like Billbrook with only 207 bhp... so has your mate with the mk2 t have a slip diff??? what times are running then .. ??     VST Cheers geezers I've just ordered the mtm manifold looks like a I'll have to cancel... I was running atp manifold and gt30R on my mk1 before I transplanted it to the C it was bit too wild... As you know there's more than enough room on a mk1.. my brothers done the upgrade to his mk2 20v and found the servo was just fouling the outlet on the turbo .. in turn he's used a smaller motorsport servo which has given the clearance.. As mine has a slave cylinder for the clutch i was hoping to find a set up that cleared it ... i really like the way the atp set-up gives you a good kick unlike the ihi set-up . which was a rather smooth on delivery.. the only other way i can see of fitting it and keeping the original pedal box , clutch and not converting it to cable is by using VR6 sub-frame.. bringing the engine forward a tad... just don't like the idea moving the engine forward as it would affect the a handling.. What do you intend on doing??? Andy..

    Alright Chuck I Got a set of Poly A/R bar bushes from Rallye designs.. I simply drilled them like yourself as there poly i've had no probs with nocking .. and they only cost £8 try them mate.. 01795531871 Andy..
  15. Yep.. I agree and its lighter.. the original engine was a G60 in my car and the 20vt was noticeably lighter.. try a ihi upgrade.. even with a aum or agu block it gives you 320bhp .. VR6 engines tend to be abit lazy in my opinon .. they just dont like to rev..

  17. kevhaywire.. I found the Lumenition AFR is the quite accurate .. if not a bit ugly.. if you match it up the lambda probe you cant really go wrong demon-tweeks supply both the probe and meter.. I've tried the autometer gauge it didnt seem very accurate and it was hard to read on the road as more than one led lights up at a time, not easy to see whats happening at a quick glance.. Andy :D

    Yep the Carls car runs a emerald... To be honest everyone has there own opinion on ECU's engines and sorts . I'm sure David Walker or Dubsport wouldnt back a sh*te system.. but as shown theres lots of people that are fans of the dta system .. so it must do some thing right

    also i know your not going to agree with me after having a bad experience but personally i think the DTA is better than the emerald. Even the guy that built my engine has mentioned it but the emerald are easier to run on the 20v engines But then i havent seen any emrald run cars getting over 300bhp on a 20v engine when Vince can get that out of the right 20v all day long. Dont believe the Hype mate .. As you know its all in the map ... I really dislike tuners that scare monger ... its a a bitch act ... when it comes down to it most ecu do the same thing be it gems emerald or dta.. just a diffrent interface .. and for running more than 300 bhp .. what was the 4wd mk2 20v from dubsport running.. 370bhp I believe .. infact my friend Carl bought the car.. and how much am i running alot more than 300 bhp...
