Right then lol My cars acting strange in the morning if I put my foot down when its coldish its starts too severely misfire and even cut out. But them all of a sudden clears and drives fine doesn't happen when it's hot only cold. I was thinking coil pack but wouldn't it happen when it's warm?

I had a quote on my storm im 23 with no no claims bonus they quoted me £740 on confused so I bought the car and found it had a cat1 alarm and a tracker so I put that on and the insurance hiked to 950 :-( I then removed it and refreshed the insurance quote and it still went too 830 went on internet setting deleted browsing history and cookies and refreshed quote back to 740 so try deleting cookies websites like confused and many holiday websites use cookies and if you view the page more than once the price changes

Yeah the roar is awsum been remapped by stealth to 202bhp I was thinking 263 cams and decat but not sure if decat will make any difference? Obv have it mapped after they are both done? The brakes have already been upgraded on front and I've got a set of mk4 calipers to go on rear

Yeah thanks guys shes a nice car few stone chips and small dents on drivers door but its 18yr old. The other good thing is it comes with completely full service history about 100+ pages that's what made my mind up about buying it up untill 2010 it was all Vw parts and labour :-) I bought it from Dorset it has a vr6oc sticker on the back i wanted too know if there's a thread for it on any of the forums too try and find more info lol I also need a headlining and sunroof lining as its slightly marked so if any1 knows of one within say 100miles of Cardiff let me know :-)

I swear they just pick number and give it too us

Hey just picked up a mystic blue storm in not bad condition need help with a few bits 1st the roof lining and sunroof is saggin is there a new one avail? 2nd is stone chips on front end is there a type of polish i can use too make them less visible untill I can get it full resprayed. There's probably going to be more soon

yeah try confused.com and I put my mum and dad as named drivers im 23 and buying a vr6 storm 2moz £731 fully comp with no NCB its £1240 without my parents on there. nothing wrong with having them on there as they might drive it ;-)

i have a m reg vr6 150k miles in red motd till dec i removed the engine and fitted new clutch, tensioners and guides, crank sensor, sump gasket, oil cooler seal, crack pipe, oil filter, rocker cover gasket, had new rear discs, pads and wheelbearings, crank sensor, but havnt got round too fitting the engine back in as i have got a new job and got no time.and jst bought a mk3 gti cheap soo its got to go so i can save for a tidy storm. it also has inpro angel lights painted and polished inlet manifold, de badged grill, fk rear lights, coilovers, 17" rs4 wheels two i painted black and two which are rubbed down recently had the front bumper smoothed and painted. i havnt got the time to get it finished and wondering wat to do with it sell it as it is or break for parts which i dnt like the idea of because it drove so well when i bought it. any ideas on whats the best too get some of the money the car owes me? sell as it is or break for spares? cheers, steven
