Gotta be honest, if my Rado doesn't go soon it may well end up going this way - seems a shame, but needs must. It's not a great scheme, anything that woun't sell for £2k or more will likely be coming off the road which means alot of classics may vanish.

Don't let this thread put you off - they're definately worth the hassle! Me and my wife have 2 VR6s between us, and I've had to spend ~£3K in 3 years, but in the same period shes just had MOTs (all cheap), tyres and a wheel bearing. Buy a good one (or one thats already had all the work done!) and you should be ok.

Depends what you mean by unreliable... I've had cars that have broken down (i.e. will not go) more often, the rado has only ever failed me once - it needed a new starter motor. That said the corrado is the only car that has always needed something doing! :lol:

Mine was dealer fitted according to the original sales receipt, never knew it wasn't an optional extra. Seems odd considering the corrado's contemparies.

Theres a lovely (Aqua?) blue VR that I saw parked outside PC world on Newport rd the other day - Is that anyone off here?
