  1. I dont post here often as i normally can search and find the answers im looking for but my car has me stumped. I've got the problem of my VR6 cutting out at junctions and just general poor running (feels sluggish) and a little lumpy on idle . Last time i took it to the garage, after all the normal bits i ended up getting the injectors ultrasonically cleaned along with the throttle body cleaned out and it was better but it just seemed to prolong how long it took the car to start cutting out. ive changed relays, ecu and the other one i forgot the number, leads, plugs and engine speed sensor (crankshaft sensor) ive cleaned out throttle body and idle valve and ive checked the best i can for vaccum leaks. i assume it just all the hoses going to the throttle body and inlet manifold and the air intake system. So i thought i would have another go at cleaning everything and checking for leaks today, nothing obvious and VAG-COM is clear. Now in the past it has had cams and a re-map done as far as i can tell with a de-cat on it. i had to put a cat on it to get it through an MOT a couple of years ago and this problem didn't start until about 18 months later. Could the re-map be the problem? it was done by the Phirm, is this likely to be a piggy back unit that could have gone faulty? i cant see anything obvious on the outside of the ecu but could it be internal? these are all my reading from vag-com, does anything stick out like a sore thumb? values that change i have put as a range. 680-720rpm idle speed 89.9 degrees coolant temp 1.008-1.016 o2 3.8-6 BTDC 3.4ms injectors on time 217 degrees EGR temp 3% engine load 14.6 degrees throttle body angle 34.3 degrees air intake 00010 switch position 1.055 ISV adaptation 50% ISV duty cycle 0001 switch position 1.008 o2 active 0.821 idle adapted value 0.922 part throttle adapted 0.933 full throttle adapted Any suggestions would be appreciated as im a little annoyed being limited to 15 min journeys. Thanks
  2. Sorry to bump an old thread but.. did you fix this problem?
  3. Mine arrived today and got it fitted, looks great and works great! what more could you ask for! Thanks for the quick postage too

  5. yep thats fine, i dont need the cables mine are practically new. I'll PM you my address now.
  6. Sounds good to me, I'm assuming its all in working order? how would you like payment?
  7. Hello, Do you have the handbrake lever? the whole assemble with the two brackets and the pullrod bit thanks
  8. White corrado g60 I think with black wheels, **** COO number plate. Leaving the esso petrol station in cowplain! You left you petrol cap on the pump lol I pulled up at the pump an thought it looked familar. I handed it in behind the counter!
  9. Hi, Does anyone have a picture of what a Supersprint Cat Bypass looks like for a corrado vr6? I'm not sure if mine has one fitted and its MOT time so you can see my problem. Dont want to go ripping it off it it is actually a normal cat i have Thanks
  10. saw this aswell on sat the 23rd, both got on the a3 together heading towards Portsmouth had abit of a laugh
  11. Thank you! Great little money saver mine arrived today, very quick too. I paid Tuesday evening and got it Thursday, fits and works perfectly Did have to get someone to help me with getting the arm in under the spring, its really useful to have an extra set of hands about
  12. Glad you fixed it, guess what i'm trying next lol would a dodgy crank sensor come up on vag com? i've ran it on my car and get no error codes
  13. I have nearly a identical problem as you, mine seems to start abit faster then yours but i still have to crank it for a long time viewtopic.php?f=1&t=79526 Fuel pressure regulator is at the of the injector rail nearest the battery, its looks like a little canister almost, with a air pipe linking it to the inlet manifold, its a £70+ bit from VW so pretty pricey part to replace and find out it dosent fix the problem like i did lol i'll be watching this thread closely to see if you fix this problem before me, next on my list is fuel filter... it seems like a starvation problem is there a strong smell of petrol or any smoke after it fires up?
  14. Tried the ignition switch today still no better. I'm gutted I've had this problem since two days of ownership and it's stopping me enjoying my car fuly I'm out of ideas, can anyone suggest anything or a good garage that knows corrado's in the portsmouth area? Thanks
  15. still got this problem. i've changed the fuel pressure regulator since my last post, which i thought had fixed the problem because on the first attempt of starting it,even after completely de-pressurising the fuel system it fired straight up, but after the car had sat there all night back to the same problem and has been the same everyday since so back to the drawing board, any more suggestions?
