  1. I may be interested in the heated seat loom w/out the switches. If you and James come to an arrangement for the switches, let me know how much you'd like for the loom, thanks.
  2. @voo51 - thanks, but really after the leather version. @8vMatt - I'd be interested to see what they looked like, could you possibly post up a picture? If anyone has a pair of these and are willing to part with them, name your price. Thanks.
  3. Anyone have a spare pair? Thanks

    Boot Carpet

Wanting to run a full-size spare, so looking for the boot carpet to accomodate, thanks.
  5. I got sidetracked with other bits so still have'nt got around to trying this, but another forum member has had some success with this recently, I will try and find the thread and post a link.
  6. You are going to need 2x relay 59. VW part # V443 919 533 A - still available at main dealers, quite dear though at £48.50 each. Your best bet is to source these from Germany, I've seen them on ebay.de for around 18 euros each, or from the US.
  7. Think you'll need adaptors for any sets on that list. The only standard fit RS's for a vr6 are 301's, which are rare, or 332/333's which are even rarer. Here's a helpful link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBS_Wheel_Library#BBS_RS
  8. Monday, around 17:30, dark colour (either black or moonlight), not sure what flavour, on the A22 ashdown forest close to Wych cross.
  9. Good going, may not be perfect, but as long as it works and looks right(modern), result! Going to have a mess around with mine this w/end at a friends garage, so hopefully can get a couple of test fits and see what works best.
  10. Have either of you guys had any luck sorting this issue out? Have been wanting to do this mod for a while now, but it seems to be a bit hit-and-miss. Someone I talked to recommended polo lifters, will post up if/when I find a good solution.
  11. Gorgeous, looks brand new. Usually not fond of gold/yellow wheels, but that really looks perfect.
  12. I've been reading through all the old threads to do with this, but I'm stll at a bit of a loss. From what I've read the single lift is no good for the late bonnet, and you need to use the mk3 twin set, though some people suggest the mk2 ones, or possibly the mk4's? Has anybody done this mod to their car, and is it relatively easy? (ie. not too much drilling)
  13. Awesome, looking forward to seeing your progress.
  14. M1** TCF, mystic blue vr6 south London, parked up.
  15. Last couple that spring to mind are 'Inglourious B*sterds' (2009) - good laugh, excellent supporting cast - 8/10, and 'Old Boy' (2003) - pretty dark, but a really good film - 8.5/10.
  16. M reg green vr6 beaufort st., chelsea - around 3.00pm. and M reg blue vr6 battersea church rd. heading towards the bridge - around 5.30pm .
  17. Tidy red G60, spotted sunday on Winders rd., looked nice.
  18. Dukest giving his car a wash on Parkgate Rd. around 15:30, and again about 20 mins later going down Albert Bridge rd. Your car still sounds very good...
  19. Give these guys a ring: Mastertechs, vag specialists 0208 648 6688, they're based in Morden, so probably not too far from you. Dave has had a lot of experience with vr6 suspension set-ups and knows his stuff.
  20. ...between bbs RM 002's and 012's? Tried several different sites but can't find a definitive answer. As far as I can tell they are both 4x100, et33, 6.5x15 in their standard form, anybody know what the difference might be?
  21. Echoing the sentiments above, great effort. Far too many being broken these days. Best of luck with the restoration.
  22. I had a set of 15's refurbed at Wicked Wheels in Guilford a few months ago, they did an excellent job at a decent price - significantly cheaper than £65 a corner. Kevin is the man to talk to there, though he's usually very busy.
