that's alright, i don't mind about the colour. i'll take a trip down to the scrappies soon!
-
thanks! i can definitely see one broken bit on the passenger side, and i suspect the cable is broken too. Are there any other VAG's that have the same sunroof mech's that i could steal?
-
check the fuses first. iirc each side has a separate fuse.
-
what is it that stops the sunroof from sliding? had a wee look while i had the roof lining off a while ago but didn't really get anywhere with it at the time but now i quite fancy having my sunroof for the summer months. any info about fixing it would be much appreciated

hot tuning are tuv approved and come with a 2 year warranty. would get you by nicely till you can afford some serious ones! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE ... 3:1|294:50 and if your not happy you get your money back.

heard good things about hottuning ones off ebay, cheap as chips and the handling is still pretty good.

funny you should say that, coz most people believe that pendulum started to copy the Prodigy's style. As they started out entirely DnB n now they have more rock and rave influences - like the prodigy always have.

Scott Brown is fantastic, but unfortunately there aren't many good British hardcore Dj's unless you like really cheesy horrible music, Try Marc Smith though - he's pretty good.

got to agree with that, parking's always tight at my place, it seems like your about to drive over the car behind when reversing but there's still a good bit of space between them.

i don't know what lever this is you's are talking about

thats a good find, slightly cheaper than mine and when i got mine it had no tax and 13 MOT failures, 2 weeks and £130 later it was on the road. It's the best way 8)

i just sorted mine from doing this. The locks were a bit stiff so the central locking couldn't fully shut them and the pump kept buzzing away trying to lock it fully. Greased up all the lock mech's n its sorted.

here's my corrado. It's a 1989 1.8 16v in tornado red with 14" BBS RA's lowered an unknown amount. The only non standard changes i made are: jetex panel filter large diameter aluminium intakepipe Pressed plates LED sidelights and an extra twin power outlet for sat nav etc. hidden under the dash. It has had a lot of new OEM parts since i bought it last August, just generally trying to keep it as original looking as possible. some pics! in front of Linlithgow Palace. Rear end after a wash. Outside my house. with the new LED sidelights fitted. In for it's MOT after sorting it out.

i had my crossovers in my golfs doors. use some top quality wire for going through to the body. fix the unit securely, as the bump from shutting the door can dislodge it if the sticky pads aren't strong and put some copper grease over the terminals once it's wired up to protect it from corrosion because, as said above, inside the doors get a lot of moisture. :thumbleft:

thats a pretty sweet buy! where u gonna put the tweeters?

removing the speed limits on country roads would be better, most people don't stick to them anyway and there are never any police out there, plus you are limited by the road itself. All the speed limits do is make oldies drive a continuous 10-20mph under them. So if there were none they wouldn't be able to do that!

what keeps my enthusiasm going is when people look at it for the first time and say "niiiice car!" to which i normally reply "i know..." but other than that it makes me happy everytime i drive it.
