Yea checked the fuses when it happened I got the smell of burning from the clocks took them out and confirmed the burnt smell came from the back of the clocks but no burn marks.everything has stopped working but the green backlight on the dials and the indicator arrows. No handbrake light, oil light nothing.

Ok guys I seem to be going threw a bad patch with the rado and its really trying my patience so could someone help before I go nuts. Ok about a week ago was driving in the rado and the time and mileage went from numbers to weired symbols for about a min. I stopped and started it and it all went back to normal. Then about a day later the same thing happened but this time when I turned off the engine the dials went blank and the clock would not hold the memory. So yesterday started it up weired symbols came on again then the rev counter went, the speedo, water temp, and petrol gauge are all gone reeding nothing, got a smell of burning plastic so took the dials out and there is defo a smell of burning from the back of the dials. The dials still light up green the indicater arrows light up but all the others dont ie, handbrake light battery light etc. So do I need new dials and if so if anyone has a set il take them asap I really need the car split up with the missus and need to get the 2 Kids around so any help would be appreciated Thanks.

The front engine mount went on my rado and the car drove like crap. With the help of some members I fixed it with a new lambda well half fixed it. Here is the original thread. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=98995 Ok so the new problem is like the old.The car from cold start runs perfectly no problems but when the car is hot ie. after about 20 mins of running if I stop and go into the shop or whatever and come back out and start her up I get the same problem I first had.The boost comes on and the car starts spluttering but the revs stay solid at around 850.Now if I blip the accelerater once or twice the car settles down back to normal and runs fine until you stop and start the engine again. If anyone could help me out on what to do I would really appreciate it as im broke and cant afford to get a mechanic to look at it for me cheers.

Hey Philie - where do you get this '5% bio' stuff - and what the hell is it! like a fuel additive yoke? Hey man have a look a the maxol site it tells you which ones are E5 did I see you the other dAY IN RATHNEW?Im working down there green g60 watch out for me here is the site. http://www.maxol.ie/general-content/e5-stations.html

The only reason I use this is you can not get any petrol in Ireland any more higher than 95 octane no super unleaded is sold herre anymore and my g60 was running like crap so i tought i would try the e5 as i had tried every petrol station all crap. With the 5% bio in it its 99.2 octane the car runs sweet and smooth and feels better every week of using the stuff. All petrol in Ireland comes from the same place same containers so its all 95 its what the petrol companies mix with it that makes the difference man i wish i lived in Japan 100+ is the norm.
-
No its only 5%. They also do E85 Which is 85% this you can run in new cars but not ild ones,.
