  1. tried to PM you borabob but it's not working for some reason, my question was: Your tyres are 195/45/16 and i notice that you can also get tyres in a 205/45/16 on these rims Any idea what the difference would be? cheers ps, ordered those spacers, they have arrived already!
  2. makes me laugh how he seriously thinks he has a really good car there! From the sounds of it his engine is knackered and he doesn't know what is wrong, and he must genuinely believe the car looks nice! he talks about it being made specifically for shows!! what shows..........crufts :D :pukeright: :cuckoo: Still pissing myself when i re-read his advert
  3. OK, i'm going to order some. Out of interest , what mm have you lowered your rado?
  4. pics are fine mate, and the rims look the business. Can i ask where you got your spacers from? I know someone who can source them for me but he has asked me the following question which I'm not sure of the answer: "H&R do do spacers for the Corrado, I assume your car is a type 53 i. I need to know the bolt size and type" If you can help me out that would be great, want to make sure I get the right spacers, hubcentric ones of course.
  5. interesting! I have a 1994 2.0L I'm assuming I'll have the same problem? Do you think i should just go ahead an order 15mm spacers anyway rather than have the wheels fitted and then have to wait for spacers?
  6. After many hours of searching and changing my mind, and becoming frustrated with my lack of knowledge regarding offset etc. I've finally decided on these rims. Based on price (£600 with tyres), weight (only 4.9Kg each) and decent width (8inches) and offest (35) whilst also having the deep dish effect i wanted. :luvlove: :luvlove: :luvlove: Welcome to comments, as long as you aren't going to tell me they won't fit my rado :nono:
  7. ahh right i see, is is possible to get ET20 and ET15's on a rado then?
  8. I've seen some other wheels now, Kerscher Carmona and they measure 7.5x16 et20 They look spot on, but what is the deal with an et20 Will these fit my ride? I've no problem getting spacers if needed
  9. just been reading an article http://www.corrado-club.com/corrado/faq/wheel-tire.html And he says that 17's are a bad idea? Anyone disagree?
  10. 1994 2.0L 16V Will be purchasing adjustables at some point
  11. yeah i was thinking 8" by 17" Does anyone know whether these will fit without any arch work. Also, any idea what offset to get Thanks all, really appreciate the quick reponses
  12. What do you reckon to these?

    respray

Anyone on here had a full respray? and how much did it cost. was thinking of getting mine done in black, just wondering what cost I'd be looking at cheers
  14. Hi All, I was looking for an induction kit for my 2.0l corrado, but i don't think they do them, so I was going to resort to the mod that i have done with my TT which is a K and N panel filter and cutting holes in the air box. On the TT it's best to drill holes all over the air box, is this the same for the corrado? cheers all
  15. ok, so i can just pull the whole section up and it will come off, or do i need to undo the screws you mentioned first?
  16. Does anyone know how to 1) Remove the gear knob (1994 Corrado) 2) remove leather gear gator / sleeve so that i can replace the leather Cheers
  17. yep I had a look through the show us yer drops section, but found it confusing, I'm only used to dealing in mm drops e.g 35/40 etc etc as opposed to measuring "actual drop" from arch to floor
  18. I only understood your 3rd comment (about KWs)
  19. Hi all, I would really appreciate your advice, please see a picture of the corrado I am taking delivery of this weekend. My question is, based on the picture what suspension would you advise going for to minimise the gap. Ideally I'd like there to be some clearance of tyre and arch, but obviously not as much as there is currently. Ideally I'd like the ride height similar to my tt (see 2nd pic) Thanks :D [

    Bodykit

I agree - the body kits don't really do much for the lines of the car

    Bodykit

cheers for the responses guys, it already has alloys and an exhaust, but the ride height will need sorting asap, it looks like an 'all road' corrado at the moment! Which brings me to my next question, how low to go, without having problems with the bumper scraping I was thinking a drop of 40mm?

    Bodykit

Hi All, I'm a new member, I'll be picking up my Corrado next weekend, i bought it as a 2nd car as the mileage was creeping up on my other car. My plan is to gradually modify it. I was wondering if anyone on here has fitted a body kit, and whether they have any pictures, cheers
