Dont know if this counts as a chuftie but was wearing my corrado tshirt one day on holiday and had two guys said "is that a Corrado" "they are nice" "do you drive one" "they were nice cars back then" made me feel a bit smug :D

Im off on Holiday for 2 weeks now Watch out Cuba here I come 8) I will keep an eye out for any rados around Gatwick tomoro morning :D Hopfully when I'm back my car will all be fixed C you lot later :wave: -
Well no sign of the stud axle today :( Looks like its being fixed whilst I away, o well hopefully I will have a fixed car to come home to. Will have to sweet talk my dad into takeing the car to the garage for me when it turns up :grin:

Thanks budy, but I got a stub axle in the post, but i might need it tho, as I'm going to take it to DG for a check after its fixed just to make shore all is good. :D

If it does start to round off the best way i've found of sorting it is to get a slightly bigger allen key and just tap it in with a hammer and that usaly works Worked for me when trying to take the throttle body off and they started to round off. but dont know if you can get a hammer in place to tap it hard enough tho :shrug:

Thanks Vaughan, I hope it is too, as driving around at 40mph isnt fun and defo not when your being over taken by smart cars and caravans :censored: Just waiting for the stud axle to turn up, then I can take it to the garage :D

Well they were still biased to the VR IIRC they said something like, "It was just addiquit with the valve engines, addiquit with the strange supercharged G60 version but only came into its own when VW get their heads straight and put the VR engine in it" -
