What a Joke

I saw this Blackberry rado on ebay that is very close to me at a breakers yard http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1995-VOLKSWAGEN-CORRADO-VR6-RED-/110663097170?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item19c408db52 So to be nosy yet again I popped over today to have a look. At the yard they have it priced at £1500. It has no MOT, Tax or Log book. After a good old look all over the car and hearing the engine run this car is not worth £1500. There is rust all over it, dents, chains need doing, Doesn't idle well and hard to start, as well as tones of other things that need doing on it. So probably worth £800 or £1000 at absolute most. I decided to have a chat with the guys there who tried ball ****ting me about how much of a classic it is and its in really good condition for its year and wont find many in that condition. I think they nearly had a heart attack when I offered them £800 for it. There reply was yet again you wont find a corrado that well price for that good condition, So I told them to come and have a walk with me to the car park and look at a £2000 Corrado. For some reason the refused to do so  O well so just a word of warning to every one, this car is only fit for breaking unfortunately and isn't worth any where near as much as they are asking for it. Only good thing about it was it had BBS rims and heated leather seats
5. Rather spectacular if i do say so myself
6. Gave the girl a bit of a clean today so hopefully she wont chuck her toys out the pram. Also picked up a eyebrow spoiler today from Andy but picked it up off Ian  :afro: I trial fitted it earlier and its looks rather mean just need to get some paint made up to spray it. Here are a few pics I took today Also managed to do this as well which I was rather shocked too see, but pleased after yesterdays ordeal

10. A day from the diary of a BMW driver... "The other day I was cruising along as usual coming onto one of my motorways, which was very busy with inferior cars. First off, I couldn't believe that the volume of traffic DIDN'T slow down for me AT ALL as I came off the slip road! I had to squeeze into a barely big enough gap between two cars in order to get onto my motorway! The driver of the car behind me did realise his mistake though and honked an apology to me with a long blast of his horn. Unbelievably, I had to do the same again before I could get to the BMW lane. Anyway, once I was in the BMW lane and posing along at 110 mph enjoying the adulation that the inferior car drivers were giving me, I noticed an inferior car ahead of me which was not only in the BMW lane of my motorway, but was driving at a ridiculous 70 mph! Naturally, I got within a foot or so of his rear bumper and flashed my headlights to remind him he shouldn't be in the BMW lane of my motorway and to get out of my way. Of course, once he realised it was a BMW behind him, he did just that, but I could hardly believe it when he pulled straight back out behind me! He also tried to keep up with me and when he realised I would out-run him, he put on some blue lights in his front grill and urged me to get onto the hard shoulder so that he could congratulate me on my excellent car. Needless to say, I was eager to oblige and when we had stopped, the man gave me a piece of paper confirming what I already knew - that my car goes fast! Apparently he wants everyone to know what a superior car I have, so I had to take my drivers licence to a police station to be sent away to have some points put on! (They're not free points either - they're £20 each and I was only allowed 3.) But the man at the police station said that because I drive a BMW, it won't be much longer before I earn the full 12 points, and then I won't even NEED a driving licence, so they will take it off me! ---------- Post added at 10:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:02 AM ---------- Got young children? When the wife takes them to a supermarket, tell them that no matter how fast they run at it, automatic doors will always open in time...
11. A Rado has popped up for sale in my area which I haven't seen before. I'm going to have a look at it later today just out of interest and being nosy. After chatting to the owner of it on the phone it sounds like it has had loads of work done on it. Reg is h39 lok. Its a 1.8 with a 2.0 bottom end and all the engine bay has been chromed, and it was in PVW at some point as well, and used to be a show car. Any one know of it?
12. I know, it was probably my fault it cost so much as I was preaty much running on fumes for a couple of days. Thanks for the offer I've got a window motor so will try fitting that this weekend and if Ineed the mch I will be in contact
13. What a day I must of up set the Corrado or something, first it decides to lock the fuel flap so I couldn't fill her up with the fuel needle below red. Next she drinks £88 worth of fuel and to top it off the passengers window has stopped working and is stuck slightly open. Grrrrrr It must of known it was pay day :bad-words:
14. Sort thanks mate didn't realise it was just a case of pulling the pin DOH
15. My central locking has engaged its self but only on the fuel fill flap. Which mean I can't fill it up and I'm bellow red on the gauge. :( I'm at work at the mo and won't make it home with out filling it up. How can I unlock it
16. Aww that sucks man, really deel sorry for you :( Like Kev said hope the person got both barrels.
17. Just exchanged waves with a blackberry corrado in gloucester. I was in the ratted golf not the rado unfortunately. It looked good who ever it was ---------- Post added at 10:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:59 AM ---------- Just exchanged waves with a blackberry corrado in gloucester. 18. I'm on my second Rado now and both have been very good. Only had to call the AA once and that was because I didn't have any tools to take the lower trim off to re attach the throttle cable. It was my fault got my foot caught under the pedal ( I was parked at the time ) and disconnecting the it. My current Rado has a F.U.B.A.R engine ( low compression in 3 cylinders) but still drives like any other VR6. Got standard BHP on a rolling road the other day, doesn't burn oil or water and I got 35mpg out of it today. Once you have driven one to its full potential you will soon stop worrying about it breaking ;)
19. Just spotted a Blue corrado on the TV About 7.44. Was on BBC news/Breakfast. The report was in Bristol and about organizing a street part. Didn't catch the reg. It was at the start of the peace right behind the guy they were interviewing.
