  1. Yay, have some good news guys.

Had an email this morning stating that my parcel will be sent out to me today by courier. The last time, it only took 3 days to arrive! So based on that, we should be able to start things moving with asking for ya money and sending the switches out next week.

Still plenty available if anybody hasn't seen this thread and would like to put their name down for one (or 2!).

  2. I have a great condition airbox, not been drilled or modified. It has a performance looking filter inside but I would allow for it needing to be changed as I don't know how old it is. I bought this for my old car but sold the car before getting around to fitting it.

After what I paid for it, so £45 posted please.

  3. I'm going through the basement and starting to move on parts that I won't be using now.

I have this MAF that I know came from a working car. The mesh is very good with no marks on it. It looks like it has been opened in the past as there is a bit of silicon sealant around the black panel.

    £23 posted.

  4. Hi guys, yes I'll add you all to the list when I get home. Thanks also.

After a 3 week gap in emails to the manufacturer ( yes I got a bit twitchy as they hadn't confirmed my payment. The contact was off sick), I've now been told that my order will be pushed through the production run. He did say to expect it to take 30 days, so its longer than I had expected. Still at least its happening now!

  5. That's the car I've had thoughts on in years to come. I don't see why it can't be a car you could do work on yourself. I spoke to a guy who owns one and he told me about him unbolting the rear and taking the engine out in only a few hours himself. A £10k 996 is still going to be a fun and rewarding car to own. As stated, the front isn't the best looker. A couple of grand of parts and you can bolt on a 997 front end, a direct replacement.

Still by the time I'm ready to buy, a 997 would probably have dropped enough in value!

  6. I will buy 3 switches so far, can I order more bit later?

Thats great, I'll put you down on the list for those. Of course you can order more later, the order is for 100 switches. Order whatever amount you like as long as there is the stock to cover it.

Many thanks for posting links up for me as I was struggling with using my phone. Appreciate it buddy.

  7. Thanks Hofmiester, yours will go special delivery!!! Hi Derbik, That's great news about enthusiasts from Poland. When I get home, I will put a link up from the original group buy feeler thread. This has a lot of technical electrical info that I don't understand! Plus there are some good close up pics as well. Sorry I'm using my phone for this and gets all confused when you try to link pages! Any questions please ask. Those asking for two or more switches, I can knock a couple of pounds off each extra switch you want to help out. Savings on the postage.
