She's a beauty ate!

My rado's not happy, keeps cutting out and has tempremental revs, its getting spark at the dizzy cap and the plugs and the ignition coil has been replaced....its a 2.0l 8v....its had a reving problem but was never this bad, seems to have got much worse over the past day, car is now un-driveable....any help is really appreciated!

Put a post up previously about my revs occasionally while driving. My rado's a 2.0l 8v so apparently there's no isv. While drivinvg on the motorway today the revs started to jump about as they have done occasionally but this time they dropped really low, the car jerked violently, the accelerator seemed to be dead. Really need to sort this soon guys so any help would be greatly appreciated

love the work you put into the seats mate, they came out lush! ive got mk3 recaros aswell which i fitted in my mk4 polo (the take the same frames as mk3 golfs) how did u swap the frames to the mk2 ones? and how did you retain the pockets on the seat bases?

Right, funny story did an emergency brake today, felt somthing fly around in the footwell, had a root around and four the number 30 relay! can someone tell me where it goes please!?!?!

its the radiator fan, cheers for the help will give the wd40 a shot!

Right my fan seems to be fookd, vibrates, squeaks and all sorts so im thinking to replace it. its a 2.0l 8v are all the fans the same size or would a mk3 golf one work? i need to sort it asap as i have to drive back to uni on sunday and most mechanics are telling me to wait a week or two......please help! thanks

it seems to be getting worse now, started squealing and sounds like the fan is knocking against something aswell as there is a slight tapping sound, im just thinking completely new fan

Hi there, looking to convert my 8v from 4x100 to 5x100, have no idea where to begin or what i need so if you guys could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!

had a look on the fan and there dont seem to be any weights on the blades, the fan itself seems pretty secure theres a slight amount of play but nothing too serious....took the car to a mechanic and he said the motor might be burning out, is this possible or is he tryna rip me off?.

i have painted lights, went to halfrauds today, they do an amber led kit which includes the resistors, costs £20 bit pricey like but does the job, my indicators now flash in time and in a lovely shade of amber! cheers for the wiring pics zak, helped me out a lot!

My fan has started going crazy on me....while stationary the fan kicks in and spins incredibly fast and sends a deep shudder throughout the car.......continues after switching the engine off until the fan shuts off.....any ideas guys? faulty fan switch or even faulty fan?

top corrado mate! lovin the look and the work thats gone into it! Where can you get the 8J lm replicas from? Most places on stock the 7.5J versions..cheers

The car was actually on pistonheads about 2 months ago and it sold the day before i was supposed to view it, however the sale fell through and the car came back on, gave them a ring, went to see it straight away and a deal was done! Does anyone know what it would take to get my front recaros from my polo to fit in the rado, i absolutely love those seats, plan is to get them re-trimmed alond with the rado rears and doorcards. Theyre mk3 golf recaros btw. Also could someone tell me how to remove the headlights and split them? and to fit h4 hids, is it simply a plug and play affair? thanks Also ordered a bra today, the car has to deal with weekly trips from london to portsmouth and vice-versa so its a good investment!

Hi there, thought id get a thread up and introduce myself properly. Used to have a mk4 polo (hence the username), however always wanted a rado so i bought one! Picked her up last week, 1995/M, 2.0l 8v, 98k, fvwsh, 2 previous lady owners, everything works including spoiler and sunroof Absolutely loving it, the handling is better than when i had my polo slammed, cant wait to get this one on the deck! Heres a few pics of the polo, still got it....planing on giving it a makeover and handing the keys to my little brother as he is soon to start driving Exterior Shots: And the Rado: done a couple of small bits since i picked it up in the form of smoked side repeators, black front badge and installed my sound system. Coilies, all red rears and a 90mm splitter shoud be on by new years, and have something in mind in terms of wheels, comments welcome!

Im a newbie to corrados, just picked it my 2l 8v last week, engine is running spot on but the coolant system/bottle looks very dirty, i want to flush the whole system and clean out the bottle, does anyone have any guides on how to do this or any tips? cheerd

Hi there, sorry if this is an obvious question but im asking on behalf of a mate and have no idea about corrados, would the recaro front seats from a mk3 vr fit in a corrado and if so how would they sit? thanks for the help
