D-REG GOLF G60

i need a brake servo for my mk2 golf g60,can anybody tell me if a corrado one is the same or a mk2 golf 16v please,if anyone has got one for sale please let me no,thank you

Where can I find the engine number on my rallye engine?

Yeah had same problem wiv mine bt no1 gave me any advice,bt yeah u do av 2 take the water pump pulley off 2get the cover off,as 4 the supercharger tensioner me andmy mate made up a jubilee clamp contraption to go around it,it will still take 2 of u,1 2 hold the clamp while uva does it,it work on mine so it shuld do 4u mate

Thanks for the advice. I've got a 7mm allen key socket i was going to try and jam in there, if not i'll try a larger torx key. Failing all that I was thinking of using a screw extractor, but heard mixed things about them 7mm ent work mate,the best thing I've used is a spline key socket I think it's an 8 mm , I'll av a look 2mo

Hi mate I've had this lots of times b4,u can use a spline or torx key socket and hammer it in, then undo,hopes this helps mate

Yeah 90spec doors,bt no spats or mouldings,yeah that bugs me 2.

Me to, had several of them but not a white one. Engine bay looks sweet. question about the bodywork , please tell me that you have got the later spec 1 piece window doors and 90spec trim to match the big bumpers. engine is running sweet now,timing woz fine it woz my fuel pump not working.

car woz all running fine apart from a water leak behind the cambelt hence y i changed it ,it ran once afta now won't start again ,can sum1 help me please. :help:

I no it mite sound dumb bt does the need 2b running 2 do that?how do u use a timing gun I've got 1 bt Neva used it, I think I've got fuel flow , how do I check?

Alrite mate I did my cambelt last weekend ,everything lined up like u av dun,it ran first time and now won't start again,do I need to use timing gun on it?

Wot is easiest way to take the charger belt off?and how do u measure the pulley?

Hi got a water leak ,it's on the cambelt side by the tensionor there is a blankin plate wiv 2allen key bolts in it ,any body got ay idea wots behind the blankin plate?

hi i av this problem 2 ,ive dun a g60 conversion 2 my golf,the light wasnt flashin on the golf i took the engine out,bt it is now,and i ent got a relay in slot number 5.

ok mate will giv that ago nxt time i work on it,got it running much beta,swopd the vac hose 4 the ecu 2 the uva nipple,for sum reason im missing the nut that goes inside pully on the alternator,not sure how 2 tighten the nut up as the pulley spins,on the spindle there a allen key bit in the middle bt i cnt get a deep enuf spanner in there,any ideas?

ok mate so join a new wire to green wire in the bk of the fusebox 2 the coil,and then the rev counter will work. and did u av 2 do anything to make the water level sensor work?

I no this will sound stupid bt it sounds like the new wire I've gota do is doin the same thing it's doin already

ok mate so if the wire that goes from coil is green,then the 1 in the fusebox will b 2 and i need 2 crimp that wire and run and new wire from it 2 the coil,is that right?
