these are the 2 colours i have in mind obviously its hard to get the proper colour through a pic but you get the idea

candy red not a show car just something that will be nice tidy and clean if you know what i mean with just a few of my personal touches. it will be a toy car really not really got a plan its gonna be far from a car thats perminantly cleaned and not used i hate trailer queens dont see the point hope to get her on the strip and a couple of track days in somewhere

to be fair i wasnt looking forward to it but been a peice of cake really. looking forward to getting her in primer i am steering towards a candy red engine bay possibly with a little subtle gold flake in the laquer think it will bounce of the pearl white i plan to paint the rest of her.

i dunno not as quick as id like haha but i can be impatient

well havent updated on here for a while mainly as it takes ages to upload the photos but thought i had better realy. anyway in the last couple weeks when ive had time ive taken the engine bay inner wings ect back to bare metal i want to smooth the bay a bit but subtly so have cut the lip of the chassis rails and welded it back up and welded all the seams up except the turret one. like to hear what you all think and any hint tips pointer or critisism is welcome. please excuse the quality of some pics some are on my phone some on camera

hi i want to 20v my corrado when it gets to that stage. does anyone know of a tuning guide of what works what doesnt whats gd whats bad ect just to give me an idea Paul

hi im in the process of smoothing the engine bay in my corrado. im not going for mega smooth just neat and tidy with a few touches. anyway i want rid of the header tank and power steering tank what have people on here done to over come this. pics would be great cheer heres my bay so far

hey after failing to sell my corrado i decided today go start work and getting on with it i bought it for brakes for my mk2 golf but decided i couldnt break it. it is a g60 which has no engine box or interior (some people may say a good blank canvas) i plan to power her with a 20v turbo. colour wise i want it white all apart from my mk2 golf have been black and white i just love to contrast and after seening a vr6 in the for sale thread it decided that is going to happen. i want to smooth the engine bay im not going for a show stopper just something thats simple clean and tidy. if anyone wished to give hints tips helps do's and dont's that would be great especially on the front of smoothing the bay and where to move and hide stuff. this wont be a build that happens in a month its gonne be a slow one progressing as and when i get money. hope you all enjoy my thread. today i removed the front stripped out the loom subframe basically the whole front is now off. started to get rid of the underseal under the wings and had to stop when i ran out of wire wheel hehe. merlin for me with 6 pipes poking just out of the wings haha. a bloke got the n/a version in an sdi im sure i could get it in a corrado. may be a back seat driver tho but what a sound hehe

im in the trade and alot of it depends on the person who does it i find if they dont like it they will pick it apart. also i think they have to fail so many so may be to get numbers up its a joke but how it goes

if you want to swap to a clean hpi clear g60 on a 1991 plate i have a rolling shell going could be ideal to swap the stuff from yours into it

does it have to be a 16v and does it have to have engine and box and interior

when things kick of i shall do. need to save up money first. and yea ill be on here loads the peeps on here sound really nice so far

i have the bonnet on mine with the 'bulge' so would i be a kinda crossover point as mine is 1991 and big ben said 92 was the change or a different bonnet along the line the car does have alot of history most useless as there is no engine

hey im new to all this corrado stuff and keep hearing people talking about early and late spec. i have read and looked and pics and so far understand that late have different switches on the dash and hearter controls as well as the window switches being in a different place. but externally whats the difference as i hear about people talking about they want an early bumper or late spec bonnet any info or pics to show the difference would be great. i have bought a g60 corrado on a 1991 and would like to put the right bits back in it as it has no door cards or seats. cheers for reading Paul

avoid the vauxhall brava like the plague gives diff trouble and a bloke i know through work just waited 5 months for bits from japan at a cost of 3500 to rebuild it.

is it all the certain engine codes with certain cars that use cable throttles if so do you know what they are. i have a good auto sparks that wouldnt have any problem whatso ever sorting the original loom into the g60. thanks for your info
