  1. Thanks lads, there is a lot to look at there, whats the score with buying from the usa import tax and stuff, have bought stuff from europe with no probs but is the usa different? So if can I run this set up minus the pistons, lsd, but use the most of the other gear and run around 350,then get the pistons and other bits a bit further down the line and move up the to 400 and above? Also there anyone near me with a vrt a could have a look(if I dribble in your engine bay I will clean it promise)I am in suffolk. Again many thanks Dom
  2. Thanks Thats about what i was thinking give or take a grand,so six would be good yes,I want to do a proper job and end up with a reliable yet very fast car, what about install time I need to know how nice I need to be to my mate who will do the more technical parts of the install(well most of it actually,my tea is that good). Also a list of parts would be good want to get started asap,I like the sound of that turbo kev mentioned in his reply, what else do I need, what set up are you guys running,I think it would be wise to go down a tested and proven road to save on hassle,do you ben and kev run the same set up? Have looked at the set up kev has on the corrado database is this still the same? Dom
  3. Nice one,yes m8 I do love the corrado nothing looks quite so mean coming up behind you in the rear view mirror and I love the fact alot of people still don't know what it is coming for them.I like my bikes but I have recently broke my leg so going to bin them for a while,I think to start 400hp would do very nicely, don't want to go to mad at first and am quite poor compared to my mates so would want to keep engine standard as poss to keep costs down,my corrado has about 120k on it but had a top end rebuild at 111k seems to be a good strong lump, car has has full decat miltec, drilled airbox, are the only engine mods at present, what would you do first, what about ss exhaust manifold and stuff like that,or is it best to get everything together and then go about fitting it. What sort of overall price am I looking to pay,and how many hours labor in a conversion like this, need to be prepared for what I am letting myself into,as for keeping with my mates cars,if I can have them up the slip road I will be happy enough.
  4. hi all new to site I have had my corrado for a year now and its time for more power, want to turbo but no to sure of what to go for kit wise and were to source it,have looked at supercharging, but I think I will want bigger power in the future that the charger won't do from what I have read on this thread.Looking to do the conversion with a friend who is pretty good with the spanners, what is the best way to start,is there a good quality kit out there that dose not need much modding,or do I need to get separate parts ie turbo intercooler pipe work ect, looking to start of with around 280 bhp and wind it up to around the 350 400 mark pretty soon after that I would think lol, would be interested in any bits that you boys have for sale to help me on my way, want to get it done over the next 6 months ,what sort of money am I Looking at to get this done.I am getting totally wasted by my m8s cars and this just won't do!This is what I am up against R32 MTM TURBO 400 HP, AUDI S4 MRC 550 HP and AUDI RS6 MRC 750 HP need to go play please help. Thanks Dom
