im looking at getting my estorils diamond cut and was wondering if anyone on here has used them or know if they are any good or not.

i thought they where to deflect stones away from the windscreen didnt realise they stopped it flagging cheers 4 the info

does anyone know of any other makers other than autobra? can u get other colours than black or ones without the sticky up bits if anyone has any pics that would be great thanks.

real shame to let a 220 get like that its always been top of my wish list 4 the past 20 odd years i know there not the best of supercars by a long way but when you see one in the flesh and see the shere size of it its quite a car. kinda like the corrado just on a smaller scale :lol:

just try using an upholstry cleaning product and sum warm water with a soft brush to loosen the dirt then use a chamois leather,they pull ouy the dirt they have other uses than just drying your paintwork. just remember to rince out the leather every so often to keep it clean. good luck

apart from the obvious whats the dirrerence between the two exhaust systems? i know stainless is suppose to last forever and they produce the same power but is one lighter than the other and is there a difference in noise? cant seem to find anything in the exhaust thread so any advice would be great.

i have a 94 2l 16v and am thinking of putting a full ss exhaust system on it probably a jetx as there suppose to be pretty qiet im guessing i'll prob get an extra 5-10 bhp with that but is it worth putting a sports cat on it.do they make a difference? i know a 4 branch would be better but dont think i could put up with the noise.

i got a 16v for daily use 3months ago thinking it would be better on petrol how wrong was i! i get 360 miles to the tank at a cost of 60 notes so after reading how much mpg you guys are getting out of vrs i wished id gone for one of them now!

bf goodridge v pattern on rear then michelin pilots on front

i got my new c a couple of months ago and the previous owner has put a set of v pattern tyres on the back and normal ones on the front ,would they be better the other way round or does it not really matter?

i live in berkshire and done bout 60 miles today drove through about 6 towns and spotted just 1 other corrado and thats 1 i always see as its a local so really i saw none.they seem to be dropping like flies,i had one 7 years ago and used to see quite a few then but now theyve all gone, dont get me wrong i love owning sumthing rare and wouldnt swap it for anything but its a real shame you dont see more. does anyone know how many are left in britain?

heres my mint 16v bought it 2 months ago and bloody love it. its had 1 owner from new sum guy in his 60's who lived on the isle of white prob hence why its only done 59k its got every receipt possible and came with 26 vw stamps in the servive book. been waiting for the right one to come up for a couple of years so its well been worth the wait. gona loose the nasty 5 spokes got sum estorils to go on it just gota get them refurbed then thats it just gona leave it standard. only down side is ive gota sell my 2 owner mk2 8v. dam credit crunch!

just checked out bbs rn on google and yep its them well done thet man! knew they wern't rx or ra never heard of rn before there from the 90's off of beemers by the looks of it. at last i know.

have had these on my golf for 3 years now, found them on a passat down the scappy, i was just curious if anyone has ever seen them before or better still, know what they are as ive never seen another set like them . thanks.

mines a 94 2.0 16v the part no. for the cable is 536721555 its best to change the rubber bush on the pedal aswell part no. 191721559 not sure if its one size fits all tho as the guy asked a few questions about the car. cable was £23.78 bush was 64p dead easy job took bout 20 mins

finally sorted my idle problem out! turned out to be a sticky accelerator cable. was sitting at the traffic lights and it done its usual and started to idle at 2k, then i had a brain wave! dont happen often. i put my foot under the accelerator and pulled it towards me,idle sat normally tried it a couple of times to confirm, changed the cable yesterday it now runs spot on, got the cable fom vw only £24. the previous owner had taken the car to a vw dealer 3 times to find the fault and they never sussed it, they changed breather hoses,cold start valve and isv and charged him a few hundred qid for the trumble! so as im very much a novice at mechanics im feeling quite pleased with meself.

car idles fine when warm but it always over revs when you change gear(takes along time for the idle to drop) so its mpg is crap at the minute. thanks for the help im off work thurs and fri so will have a proper look then. does anyone know if they do a haynes manuals for the corrados?

took the 5th injector cable off this morning started spot on and drove fine mpg went up so was all good. then this afternoon started up funny and drove rubbish.weird! but i guess it must be the problem. maybe i should change the injector or could it be the blue connector?

thanks for the posts guys. likewise will let u know how i get on to. think its gona have to just stay like it for the moment tho,got to try and sell my mk2 golf fisrt b4 i start ploughing money into the corrado if i could keep both i would but as this country hates the motorist at the minute i just cant afford both of em! :(
