definately bring them cos i might need a new set.. im chopping my rear springs this week to get mine on its ass for the show, just hope ive got some tyres left after the long drive and arches catchin all the way!!!! hopefully will be ok though

they will go on, cos i managed to get 7.5x18s on, but you would be making life easier for yourself if you stuck to 7'' wide, i didnt touch the front arches on 17s, but 18s, i removed plastic liners, rolled all arches and had to knock the inner arch in for clerance, go for 7'' wide if you can. you can always space them out later if you dont have problems with them catching and want the arches filling out more. saw a pic on here somewhere of a c on supers- looked v.nice

look on members pica.. ive put some pics of mine on there, they dont look too big cos ive had people come up an say @nice wheels, are they 17s?' which really annoys me after all the work i did to get them on :?

i had et35 7x17s on mine at first, they caucht on the back even with the arches slightly trimmed, so i doubt very much u will get 7.5s on without any mods, mine is lowered 80mm though so that might have been why

no, not yet sorry, will post some more pics of the car on weekend wen ive had a bit more of a play with it, i thought the 18s might look too big, but its turned out ok because ive managed to get it low, so its not up on stilts :D

live in caergwrle, castle street just at the top of the hill, it looks a state at the mo, bumpers covered in filler, should be finished on the weekend though

wheels are 7.5'' et 40 runnin 215-35-18 could do with a 3mm spacer no the front cos tyre is VERY close to the spring platform

hehe, yeah.. erm. i saw one of them little fridges in tescos. thought it might fit where the arm rest is (was) in the back seat.. it does!

its a 1.8 16v. drilled air box 141k miles wheels + springs momo s. wheel fridge loads of ice mk2 golf grill cut down to fit thats about it at the mo loads of body mods startin at the mo, removed fogs and indicators to smooth bumper goin to de-handle it and remove side repeaters soon, want it as smooth as hopefully some full leather too

its on the venom 80mm spring kit. front arches have been rolled with plastic arch liners removed, rear arch lips were ground back a bit, main prob is the inside of thr rear arch, above the lip, its catchin there at the mo, nothin a big hammer wont sort out though, drives ok, not much steerin lock anymore, thats the only prob with em really

this is my 1.8 16v, just fitted the 18s and its lowered 80mm

hehe.. you probably wont believe me, but its on 18s! neeedless to say, i have no steering any more, not got much scraping on the front, still playin with the back arches at the mo but have had 4 people in the car with only a bit of scrubbage. dunno how to post pics

i bought some -80s, runnin on standard dampers, bottom out all the time (as i expected) think the front has dropped about 100mm!!!
