  1. i have checked the plug on the back of the speedo, seems fine,i read somewhere that disconnecting the battery for a few minutes sometimes brings life back into it? so will try this later, otherwise not too sure what to check next :confused4:
  2. anyone got any ideas :confused4: just want to know where to start really, as i said, all fuses are ok,
  3. it seems as soon as i g et one problem sorted, another one happens!! i have now not got any digital display,ie,clock, mfa, and mileage reading, also no rev counter or speedometre, the temp gauge and fuel gauge still work fine.I have noticed recently that my headlight switch has been playing up,it seems hard to switch from side lights to headlights :confused4: this morning i was driving to work checked the MPG on the mfa, when suddenly it just all disapeared, with the rev counter and speedo.because the speedo is not working this is also preventing the spoiler from raising too,but still works on the switch, checked all fuses and all are fine :?

    abs rings

just found an old post from will, back in 2006,about his bent abs rings, someone on the forum mentioned bending the rings back, so that they stop catching on the sensor, his post got locked, and was wondering if it was an option to try and bend mine back :? do they have to be exact, or just enough to get it from catching on the sensor? cheers.

    abs rings

hi, finally found the cause of my brake problems and just wondered if you can buy the front abs rings (92 g60) seperately ? or do they only come with the hubs? cheers!
  15. oh ok  at least it eliminates that one then!!
  16. Hi,As some of you may know i am experiencing some weird brake issues! it feels like my brake pedal is constantly vibrating when you brake,at any speed,i read in some old posts, that the windscreens can be known to leak, causing water to get into the ABS ECU? my windscreen doesnt leak,BUT i have recently had my engine bay pressure washed, and wondered if this may be the cause of the ABS ECU getting wet? if so what are my next steps to getting this sorted out ? and where is the ABS ECU situated? many thanks.
  17. just been reading some old threads relating to my brake problem,i read that water can leak from corner of windscreen, and get into the abs ecu? my windscreen doesnt leak, but have had engine pressure washed recently, would this cause any of the problems im having?? if so what would be my next steps to getting this sorted :brickwall:
