hi all. thought id share with you what a stupid thing my mate done last night!! he had his corrado vr up for sale,it was a mint example in grey,84k,fvwsh,absolutely stunning!! and he was asking just £2.400 for it,but he would not tell me what car he had in mind to get next to cut a long story short, my mate let his vr go for £1150 which is far too cheap!!! but get this......... he rushed out this morning and bought the first car he saw which was a vauxhall calibra 2.5 v6 1996 (P) with just over 145k on it :confused4: please tell me im not the only one who thinks he is completely off his rocker?!?!?

i dyed the carpets on my last corrado :lol: i used normal black fabric dye and put it in a spray bottle, you really have to make sure you get an even coverage! but looked great when finished :D

saw a dark blue/black corrado yesterday on the a27 Eastbourne,heading towards polegate,K----BRO. looked awesome. very low!!! flashed and waved, and got one back :clap:

just a quick question, my temperature gauge seems to creep up quite high then will drop a bit, but it doesn't seem to stay in one place? :confused4: is this normal?? a friend said that in the hand book it says this will happen, but its fine as long as the warning light does not flash?!?!? :confused4:

hi steve, you do mean the black surround?? and not the backing plates? if so i managed to get the black surround from my local vw dealer, it took them nearly two weeks but got it in the end :?

luckily i have a full variable speed polisher, so i will have to try again at it with the wet n dry, thanks for your help though matey :D

ive tried that with g3 compound but no luck!! i think it may need flatting of with a very very fine wet n dry then re polish with the mop ?

im pretty sure none of them do to be honest

use scratch x, its a tube of polish that removes all scratches, its amazing stuff and can be used on most surfaces, even wood!!! it bought my rear lights up a treat :D even used it on my numberplates to remove light scratching :lol: they look new

oh you know him!!!!! thats a good picture of him :lol: i take it they dont have the fuel light then? :D

hi is there any cleaning product that can enhance the look of my scratched drivers window?? a small bit of grit or something has got caught in the rubber and scratched the glass when opening and closing window :mad2: i was wondering if there is any way to get this removed without replacing the glass :confused4:

hi there, this may sound like a dumb question!! but do corrados have a fuel warning light to tell you the fuels getting low? only got mine on sunday and the last owner said,"there should be enough fuel in there for your journey home,anyway when the light comes on you still have 40 miles or so left" i honestly did not think it had a fuel light? :shrug:

how do you actyally get to the bulb then? do you remove the top of the selector ie.... p R N D ??? sort of diagram of the bit im on about :lol:

hi there, does the selector on an auto box suppose to light up at night? last night i went in a mates 2.0 auto and the selector was almost impossible to see as it was not lit up, he seems to think it was always like this?!? is it just a case of changing bulb under the selector? if so i take it it's a fairly straight forward job for him :confused4:

hi just spotted a ice grey violet corrado not too sure on the spec? spotted it in Peacehaven on the A259 going towards Brighton, i was a few cars behind, is it anyone on here? :wave:
