  1. Eyebrow / Grill Here we have a used eyebrow/grill in Bordeaux Red (LC3y) Its in good used condition couple of stone chips/light scratches as you would expect after being fit to the car for a number of years After some confusion on another part sale i think its best to clarify, if you want to buy it use the buy it button at the top then its yours no arguments, saying you'll take it or pm me doesn't guarantee its yours as someone else can come on and use the buy it button at the top (hope this makes sense) List Date: 4/2/2015 For more info, click here to view the original listing: Eyebrow / Grill -------------------------------------- SOLD -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: Eyebrow / Grill Go Mobile: Download the free Panjo iOS app now!
  2. So really Sparks should have just used the buy it now feature rather than trying to do it the old way ? i can see where the confusion comes from and it would probably work ok if people knew how to use it lol
  3. Yeah can we not sell things the old fashioned way without involving Panjo? It just seems to confuse things!! Yeah Wayne i can wait mate no rush also gives you chance to check your bank and make sure panjo doesnt have your money
  4. Hi Wayne to be honest i don't know lol ive never used this Panjo before, so sparks said he wanted it first so i thought yep aslong as he pays for it its his but then ive received no payment or contact from him. 11. Hi Guys got my old recirc valve from my Audi on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150983438254?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 If anyones interested i can sort a deal out off ebay for forum member Thanks Peter
  12. lol i had a nissan cherry for my first car it was a beast !!!! well it wasnt but i thought it was :-)
  13. Agree with sime6920 comment dont do it !!!! Rust bucket springs to mind they rot terrible around the bottom of the doors, arches, roof. Feels heavy and numb the 4wd system isnt even that good and can really catch you out at times. Ill agree the 1.8t engine is very tunable but if you want anywhere near 300bhp you'll need new upgraded rods and they getting to the age where things start going wrong. Stick with the rado mate just my 2p
  14. mate you are a legend i will take a look at them at the weekend and hopefully that should do it thanks again bud
  15. Hi Guys so i have my rebuilt vr engine back in the car most of the wiring and plumbing has been fettled but i have to admit i didnt label up all the wires around the battery and the starter motor and im struggling to work out what goes where if somebody out there has some photos of the wiring around the starter motor area it would be much appretiated. Ive had a look about the forum and the closest pics i could find were the ones from the timing chain setup on wiki but there not quite at the right angle where you would see the wiring. like i said any information of any sort is much appretiated Thanks
  16. Nothing wrong with a skoda mate especially for only £160 quid im sure you will get more than that when you weight it in. Struggle to find any cars with decent test for under £200 atm cos everyone just scraps them! Emu i would love an allroad they seem to have that bit extra ground clearance needed but they way out of my pricerange pal Anyone have a Honda HRV ? or any opinions on these ? seems you can pick a 99/00 model up for around 1500-2000 and with it being a honda shouldnt have much trouble ith it ?
  17. Yeah Coulstar you hit the nail on the head ground clearance is the big issue the problem is i live on a farm where only 4x4's and tractors go up the road and they make two deep groves in the snow which is great untill you need to pull over for a car coming the other way (single track) and cant get out the groove lol and when the snow gets deeper and mines the only car that bottoms out on the untouched frozen snow left in the middle of the two grooves ---------- Post added at 04:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:50 PM ---------- so what you got this year easypops ?
  18. Easypops yeah ive looked at Fronteras and other cheap 4x4 but knowing my look it would brake down when i need it lol then ill be stuck so dont mind paying the extra cash and getting something half decent aslong as i dont loose to much when i sell it in the summer. Portent Grip really isnt an issue with the a3 it gets great traction with it being a quattro but its quite low to the ground and last year when all the snow got compacted and froze it really does take its toll on the bumper splitter and under side of the car
  19. Hi all Im starting to think about preparing for the winter ahead ive heard a few forcasters saying were in for it big time so although my a3 quattro managed well last year ground clearance is the main issue as i live on a farm and have a three mile track to the nearest village. My limit is £2000 to buy a half decent 4x4 that will last the winter anybody have any suggestions ? Been looking at the honda HRV 1.6 vtec lump and intelligent 4wd system anyone had one of these ? any opinion welcome
  20. Hi Lukeyy Im currentley rebuilding my engine and trust me it would probably be alot cheaper to swap it for the 24v wish i had but ive come to far now lol my bores on the block were shagged so had to bore it out and fit larger forged pistons check crank over and replaced all bottom end bearings at the same time. while the heads off you might aswell at least get this checked over mine needed new stem seals and lifters i also replaced all the timing chains and tensioners fitted all new gaskets, water pump, head bolts. Thats before i stated on the performance stuff like cams 6 branch manifold, lightweight flywheel, clutch etc etc. I dont wanna add up how much ive spent better off not knowing lol All depends what you want, how long you have, and how deep your pockets are :-)
  21. agree with floppyman get a slightley larger screwdriver or spline bit and bray it in with a hammer normally does the job
  22. Hi Oilman Thanks for the link i may take advantage of this. wondering if i could pick your brain my vr6 engines just been rebuilt what oil would you recommend for the running in period? and then what oil after its been run in ? Thank you in advance
