Hi Gents Sorry I haven't updated this... Not getting emails when these are updated anymore?? If I'd have seen the kind offer earlier I may have taken you up on it! I'm pretty convinced it was the wrong oil filter used. I haven't undone the casings yet so it will still house the evidence! Think I should go to garage that did oil change and open in front of them... Maybe some compensation as it was defo oil starvation. Anyway I took it to VW Techniker Chelmsford in who swapped the engines over for me. Great guy Robin highly recommended. Pax

Guildmage Roof strips arent falling apart but theres a bit of decay along one edge of them both. The fixings all look good.
