  1. So Rubbadubz is six years old so its time for us to all meet up and celerebrate. Yes i know celerbrating the fact that the club is 6 years old is a bit odd, but we were all so busy last year we forgot to celerbrate our 5th birthday lol. As per usual all our friends and fellow dubbers (old skool to new wave, air cooled to water cooled) If the weather is good then hopefully we will get the BBQ fired up! Rubbadubz and friends plan to make this a bit special and will post details up of any other plans as they are finnalised hopefully see you all at The Anchor Inn Main Rd, Kempsey, Worcester, Worcestershire WR5 3NB monday 13th of May 730pm onwards Remember guys, please have respect for the local residents. P.S feel free to share this event with fellow dubbers and clubs https://www.facebook.com/events/331051313664052/

  4. no probs if you want some pics of how it all sits and the modded aux pump holder then just yet me know and i'll take some for you also forgot to mention that the original 24v water pump takes it feed from a core plug on the front of the block, so i removed the original core plug and replaced it with a standard 36mm core plug.
  5. can i just add, being half way through this conversion on a mk2 golf, i have found that the easiest way to plumb in the cooling system is to move the the aux water pump to the 12v position, i done this by removing a cable holder that goes down the side of head and bolting on the 12v aux water pump holder, with this i just drilled an extra hole in it so it could bolt to the 24v head. i used 12v thermostat housing and 24v crack pipe. this enabled me to to use all the 12v coolant pipes apart from the pipes for the the oil cooler, these are the 24v items. the only other pipe i modded is the pipe going from the head to the heater matrix, this i just flipped round 180degrees and trimmed it down. i left the coolant bottle in the original position i hope this helps
  6. does anyone know where i can find the engine no. on the 24v block or do u know which code 2.8 engines came the coilpacks sat on the plugs, not on the side of the head
