  1. On the one decent day we've had so far I thought I'd take the plunge and do the front suspension and clean up under the arches. After and before shots - what a difference!
  2. Andy - yes, exhaust is as OEM as I could get, back box and front silencer are OEM quality from GSF, centre suitcase silencer is an GSF OEM quality Mk2 GTI 16V box as I couldn't get a Corrado one in the UK when I needed one.
  3. Michael, if you have no joy with Rodmax I'm sure I have a set of NOS MHW items I bought from GPC which I have never fitted. Just seen your additional note - not needed now. Dave
  4. Thought I'd post some 'action shots' of Kurzy and I in his trusty Mk3 valver - although seriously fiscally outgunned by our Audi brethren in their R8s and RS4s and 6s we had an excellent day and did mange to overtake a thing or two!
  5. My favourite from Tatton Park - standard as the day it was born!
  6. Though I ought to post some pictures before RedRado goes to bed for winter so here goes.
  7. Andy, looking like good progress, great to chat last Saturday when I collected my bits - keep up the good work and don't forget the driveshafts when you get to the drivetrain. Cheers, Dave
  8. James - excellent use of the tabloid press! I am really looking forward to completion of your project and seeing the fruit of your labour in the flesh. Dave
  9. Thanks, just got in from work - have your pm will call at a more sociable time tomorrow. Dave.
  10. Thanks - happy to wait til you're next trip to Bradford, will pm you my number so you can let me know when.
  11. Rado mc, I'm in Preston and need a couple of minor trim bits - drivers door speaker grille, right hand instrument panel surround screw cover, plasic handbrake lever cover, rear parcel shelf sides and sunroof interior panel. Do you have any of these parts? Dave.
  12. jregmk2, I have just had my RZs refurbed and could use a 5th - can you confirm it is 4x100 et 33 standard G60 wheel? If so, I'm interested. Dave
  13. Cheers Steve, saw yours at Tatton looking sweet but due to late planning left mine in car park. Still managed to catch up with Gareth, James and Kip while I was looking around with my daughter Emily. Cheers, Dave.
  14. Good luck with pastures new Gareth - remember there's no substitute for cubes even if you are trying to be 'sensible'!
  15. Can't believe it, I had the car MOT'd today and I have only done 700 miles in the year! I've got to ask myself whether it's worth keeping it? Still gives me something to polish when I want to get away from the 3 ladies in my house so might be worth keeping it just for that !
  16. Thought you weren't there Matt - I ended up in the public car park as by the time my daughter and I got mobilised we were too late to get into the cars for sale area! So much for planning, hope to catch up some time soon. Dave
  17. Gareth, I must be dreaming! Think very carefully, you've been here before.
  18. Hi, do you still have the G60 front brakes and the fuel pump and accumulator? If so, how much for both posted? Dave.
  19. Cheers Matt, good to meet you too and have a good chin wag - look forward to catching up at Tatton if not before.
  20. note you're online - get a life muppet!

  21. Gets my vote in these austere fiscal times - they look great.
  22. James - Nothelles for me they epitomise late 80s/early 90s OEM+ for me. May I say, the car is looking even better than when I last saw it at Tatton.
  23. Excellent Jude - sounds like a plan to me! Best get off this computer now and find 2 buckets, some sponges and some polish if I don't want to disappoint. Cheers, Dave.
  24. His tis I, the Scarlet Radonel (Red Rado) - just spoken to Paul, was an existing member and have re-subscribed today but can't find my CCGB number, user name is as before so hopefully Jude/Vicki can find me and link the 2 together. Will blow the dust off on Saturday and bring her down early on Sunday - now where did I leave the polish? Looking forward to seeing everyone, Dave.
  25. Alex - that's an epic thread, hats off to you. makes my slow resto seem very easy in comparison!
