I had a similar issue but found after a good spray with some lube, seems good as new.

Saw a green VR, tidy looking thing at the Hilton Village shops the other day, no sign of the driver!
-
How much would you be looking for it, just out of curiosity?
-
Get that tank up and running. . . I'm down to just 1 x 4ft now.
-
How long has he been running them?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Jamex-Xtreme-Coilovers-Volkswagen-Corrado-/220751258676?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3365cce434 After all these years. The last time I saw Jamex would have been back at school flicking through the pages of 'Max Power', wondering if I would own a ca like the many featured. So, who has ever used them as I'm seriously considering getting them.

I'll be ordering one of them tomorrow from my local VW stealers, MOT up soon and there's a couple of bits and bobs but getting a service tomorrow too.
-
Harry how much did that hit the wallet for??

I have a valver, I wish I had more money or Know-how on how to maintain/improve her better, but I've never had any bother with her, don't know anyone else with one and have only ever seen 2-3 others where I live (inverness) and the yellow nugget was in poor state, But like the guys say get a good one in good working order. Mines is in for a service £102k, in all honesty I'm dredding it, my mates say do it yourself, but engines are like women, don't really understand them lol. It too low to get a (trolly) jack under and even then where the hell do I start. I do need a rear engine mount and going to get the front wheel bearings done on the day of the service, I could probably do with changing the dizzy cap, rotar arm and perhaps the ht leads, air and fuel filters, oil, flush the engine etc etc, but I love my C. -
Sweet just what i need.......

Jim, you are the man, thank you.

Nice one on the rapid response Jim, Who can get a hold of the vw part number? And maybe a price if someone has replaced this part before..
-
As the title says; (mine as I'm sure some others have) disconnected from the wipers, happened today in the ****in rain, typical of coarse, so my question is all about how to repair it?? Looks like there's a small cap or something missin, or the joint is so worn it has just popped off..... Is there a spare??
-
LMAO, can't wait to follow this one closely, you've taken on a project and a half with that one Skid. . . .
-
Rubbish, but I'm sure the the 'mods' will know for sure
-
Okay where can I buy one from??
-
I hope someone knows exactly what this is as I have a very very similar problem, Although I need to service mine after being off the road for the winter....
-
I also need a 4-branch. Please..
-
I'll give that a go at the weekend, Ideally I want to get as much info as poss so I'm not arsing around trying one thing then another. I also need to get my front lights changed and then all the other little niggley things that we all have to get done at some point, the drivers side door handle is struggling big time too ( got the repair kit lost the instructions, lol ). Need to get the cat replaced, manifold has a small crack, and I've been toying with the idea of KR Cams, and a 1.8 gearbox, the list really could go on but I'll end there....
-
Not sure if this is in the right section, My number plate lights aren't working, the fuse is ok and I changed both lamps but no joy, Has anyone had this problem and where did it come from? I'm now thinking a wiring issue :epicfail:
-
I guess loosing top-end doesn't bother me as I'm not into high speed too much, although I would like to have more torque and bottom-end acceleration.
-
I have a mate who said he's got a 1.8 gearbox that would go nice with my 2L, Why would I want to do this and what would it do to performance and all that??? I'm no mechanic and need to know if the change is good or bad...
