Same size as originals, 5.25 door, 6 x 4 for rear shelves, the sound is better than standard but a bit tinny, this could be down to the fact i have used the original speaker cable, crappy headunit, and lack of amp. Funds only allow one thing at a time :(

My washer jets are also set off by the slightest touch of the stalk and stay on, what did they do to fix it? i dont like the idea of 5 hours labour at a dealers :shock: £££.

I'm a numpty when it comes to fitting speakers and have no experience whatsoever, i've bought a set of JBL GTO506C components complete with crossovers and i'm completely stuck, i've taken out the original tweeter and door speaker which leaves the vw block connectors with one blue cable and one blue/brown cable going to each connector, am i right in thinking i snip these plastic connectors off and replace with spade connectors and connect the door wires to the door speaker :?: The tweeters come ready wired with red+ve/black-ve and you wire these straight into the crossover, which of the two sets of original wires that went to the tweeter now need to go into the in+ve and in-ve on the crossover :?: what wire goes into the w+ve and w-ve on the crossover :?: As i said NUMPTY, i hope someone can follow the above? any help greatly received? :oops:

Yeah big thanks for the heads up, me and the g/f use at least 4 of these roads daily, even in the corsa van i could pick up licence losing points in a week.

I think the previous owner removed the carbon cannister when the 20VT replaced the G60, where will i find the breather line? :oops:

When i remove the petrol cap to fill up there's a big whoosh as loads of air escapes, never happened on my old c or any other car/vans i've owned, anybody else have this problem :?: is it a problem :?: how do i fix :?:

I'm buying a c with a Audi 20VT installed :D , the seller has no receipt for the Audi engine so i've phoned Audi to confirm its legit and they cant give any info without chasis no. or reg no's how do i make sure the engine isn't nicked :?:

One of the writers for the Golf mag owns a VR6, in this months issue he says that Dubsport are going to put an R32 engine in it, he's also looking for a synchro system to go with it.

The polish used by the previous owner of my car has left such a shiny finish on the dash that the reflection in the screen blinds me if the sun comes out. Does anyone know how to remove this glossy coating? any suggestions (apart from new dash)? :scratch:

Yes it was those rims, but auction ended 18.04.03, he's not a company so no visa, his feedback was only one at the time of auction end paypal wasn't offered so i wanted to use an escrow to protect against rip off, funds now cleared by the escrow but he wont accept, he's e mailed this am to ask me to transfer direct to his account, is it me being cynical or does this sound like a scam :roll:

I'm currently having problems with a german seller (BBSRIMS 76), said he would accept escrow on the auction, The escrow company have my money and have instructed him to post the goods but he has now e mailed me to say he wont accept the escrow and we must find another way! :mad: Any suggestions?
