  1. So after reading through all the "definite 20vt" i havent quite got the questions i wanted answered as seems alot of you go for the qpeng route. Just a few questions relating to me doing the 20v conversion. Firstly ill be doing it all myself or mates who are into vw's. Done a few vr6 conversions already and not worried about getting stuck in but looking to clear a few things up before getting started. Im going to keep my box from the kr engine and bolt that straight up to the 20v,will the shafts be alright with this power wise as compared to vr shafts im used to the valver ones are tiny(thickness)? Should i fit a vr6 clutch and g60 flywheel? Regarding wiring i do not want to use qpeng and want full oem management. Looking to see if anyone has this running? I want to run a cable throttle and not wanting to mess about with the pedal box,is a certain engine this setup or can throttle bodies be changed? Radiator wise what should i change it to? g60? vr6? will i need a slam panel to change the radiator into or will it bolt to valver slam? I have a few options for engines at the minute so looking guidance which may be the wiser route. Currently 2 mk4 golf engines agu 150bhp versions or also have the option of a tt engine 225bhp. I know ill need the engine,loom,ecu..what else so i need? I see alot have fitted solid front engine mount? this the way to go? No doubt have a few other questions but shall start off there. Cheers in advance
  2. Eh well im needing to roll the rear arches in the next few weeks.Plans were to do it last weekend but couldnt get hold of the arch roller. Engine wise is probably the main thing. May look at changing the interior in it for the later black interior nad fitting electric windows but not looked into this yet. Engine is ill be looking for over 200bhp anyways and have a good looking bay all going to plan. Relocate washer bottle to scuttle panel, expansion tank to drivers side and possibly battery to boot to clean the bay up a bit. Pics wise i have sorted them a little but its a good shade of yellow and hasnt faded at all. Not quite as dark as the honda jordan shade however comes up lovely when polished and waxed. Shall be keeping it in the condition it is or better.
  3. Cheers mate, was something differnt from what i usually go for but the power just isnt what im used to so engine is getting whapped out for sure.

  5. Thought id post up a few pics of me now owning the rado which a few of you seem to know. Gave it a full on cleaning session at the weekend for the first time after getting it. Fitted my momo steering wheel,Audi tt pedals(still need accelerator one) and my Alpine stereo. Clay bar'd the full car, dont think it had been done before the amount of tar that came off. Treated it with p21s paintwork cleanser didnt really need a polish so straight onto p21s concours wax after that. Took all the wheels off and got under the arches cleaned and treated. Coilovers came up like new. Cleaned wheels inside and out off the car. Gave engine bay a quick clean but not worrying about in there as it will be coming out in next few months to fit a 20vt  Heres some pics anyways: And heres what i previously had before the rado:
  6. Awesome nugget man. Might be giving you a shout in a few months on info for the 20v turbo conversion. Would like to do it to mine but need to sort a few other things first after only just buying it. Good job on the car anyways bud
