Just out of interst, how many canisters of nitrous do you get through, I know it depends on size etc, but is is expensive/ easy to get hold of? You got any snaps of the canister installed in your car? Cheers

lol!! Sounds like lots of peep have had problems with 'em!! A m8 of mine took his new Golf to the Stealers when he had an electrical problem, the Engine Managment System ended up getting replaced at the cost of several hundred pounds.. this didn't work. So then the Stealers changed the fuse and what do you know, everything started working again... I've stopped taking my car to VW got servicing now, they are pants!

PD Motorsport are worth talking to. I spoke to Darren and hope to get my car in with them in October (when I get another years no claims) for a 30bhp increase. Not sure of price/ parts yet but Darren is compiling a list of "tweaks" for me. With regards to nitrous, does this not seriously shorten the life of the engine? Or am I a few decades out of date?

That makes sence m8, really weird to be told by the people who make thew car that they cannot fix stuff. Think I'll try and find where these guys go after they get qualified by VW...

Hi All, Need to vent spleen about my local stealers!! My sunroof needs to be repaired and VW have said that they have no one old enough to know how to repair it.. wtf is all that about? Has anyone else come across this type of thing with VW stealerships? Does anybody in the Middlesex/ West London area know of a stealer who can repair a VW sunroof? The Insurance are paying for it so I can't fix it myself..DOH!

Dunno if its too l8 to add to this. But if a piggie is using a speed gun he/ she has to pass a test to operate it. You could ask for this certificate and also the calibration certificate of the camera, might not get you off but they would have to earn their money finding it out, and might even give up... Worth a go dude, don't make it easy for the buggers to take your hard earned cash!

Mine is a late model '93 16v and my spoiler comes up at 45mph.... Would be better if it came up at 60 though..... Had a right go at some lar-de-dars the other day, the muppets had sat their 5 yr old kiddie on the retracted spoiler.. spanners!

Hi All, Have any of you come across this; when you shut your driver or passenger door with the window up it gives that nice solid VW "clunk", but when the windows are wound down and you shut the door it sounds like a load of bolts are rattling around inside the door? Cheers

Sorry to hear that dude... would cry if mine got pinched. But the pigs are indeed useless and criminals are free to do what they want, glad I get robbed by the government and pay all this tax for a bone idle police force and usless judicial system... rant rant rant.... About the tracker though... I had one on my old motor, but if you leave it standing for 2 days or longer it'll drain your battery.... :x

There are two settings for the computer, MFA1 and MFA2. Is MFA1 meant to reset every time the ignition is trurned off and on?
