  1. You like your UR quattros alot don't you mr moderator. Thought you might like to know that there is a mint one parked in a showroom in York, alongside a rally spec metro 6r4!
  2. makes you wonder what they have in thier coffee on the continent!
  3. check out some of these european beasts at the site address below. not quite sure about some of the suspect styling.... http://www.thecorrado.com/enmeetinggti03.html
  4. I DON'T RECKON BORA LIGHTS WOULD GO EASILY, WRONG SHAPE, BORA LIGHTS ARE ANGLED BACKWARD ASWELL! SORRY MAJIK, GOOD IDEA THOUGH
  5. gutted for you mate! NEVER HAD A CAR STOLEN, BUT HAD ABOUT £3K OF ICE STOLEN FROM MY SAXO ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. PARKED IN A SUPERVISED MULTI STOREY, IN LEEDS CITY CENTRE.
  6. i wonder how the s2 compares to the likes of the scooby, evo and escort cossie, 'cause it's a similar type of car. (mid capacity, turbo'd, 4wd etc)
  7. i'm interested in joining ccgb, so i'd like to go along. i'm from york, is the meeting far from here?
  8. yeah biggrim, my pic was based on that one with quite a bit of modification. here it is...
  9. nice pic spoier!!! nice to see some nice laydees with a corrado. I see 4 corrados on a regular basis around york, and none are owned by laydees unfortunately (and yes, i do mean you bigben!!!)
  10. cheers mr vr6 for cleaning that up! lol it would maybe look better slammed on some 15" or 16" bbs's for some proper euro style, but i'm not that good with paintbrush. just wanted to see what people thought. i wonder if the lights and grille would fit (in reality) on a corrado... :?
  11. what do you think to this then? the result of a bit of fettling on paintbrush.
  12. very nasty car!, even if it is a corrado! rear lights seem to fit well, but why bother!
  13. its a bmw 3 series E46 coupe, that someones fiddled with on paintshop, with what look like bora or audi lights, they've made a good job though!
  14. is the rs2 as fast as the lotus carlton or the more modern subaru legacy rb4 twin turbo? the subaru is capable of 168mph as standard apparently, and you can pick up a 99 plate for 12k! :clown:
  15. i'm afraid the corrado is definately not produced anywhere, but the mk1 golf is still built in south africa, but the call it the city golf or something...
  16. yeah, it's a tidy example that black one. don't know who it belongs to, but it has 17" wolfrace voodoo's if i remember correctly. I have sen it before, at a cruise in pontefract maybe 8-10 months ago, and even the nova bos were drooling over it. big respect to the person who built it. reminds me of a similar c from sunderland, that was featured in pvw mag in april of this year. that was for sale until recently - though is still advertised for sale in the back of pvw. the dubwieser mk1 20v golf was out in force, showing a few super cars a thing or two!
  17. I NEED TO SELL MY CURRENT CAR SO THAT I CAN AFFORD THE CORRADO I WANT. IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED, IT'S ON EBAY AT THE MOMENT UNDER 'MOD IFIED SAXO FURIO PROJECT (UNFINISHED!)' (YES, IT IS A CITROEN SAXO, BUT THEY WEREN'T THAT COMMON WHEN I GOT MINE AND THE HANDLING IS AWESOME!) ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED GUYS, AS I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THIS CORRADO I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT WILL STILL BE FOR SALE!
  18. VR6'S ARE GROUP 18 (AND APPARENTLY, SOME INSURERS PUSH STORMS AND CAMPAIGNS UP TO GROUP 19!) i GOT QUOTES FOR THE 1.8 AND 2.0 FROM ADMIRAL INSURANCE ONLINE, AND BOTH QUOTES WERE ALMOST IDENTICAL, SO THEY MUST SEE THEM BOTH AS BEING GROUP 15. WHAT INSURANCE GROUP IS THE 8V?
  19. cheers alex 2.1 16v. you don't know when the new site for ccgb is opening do you?
  20. ok, thanks alot guys. i'll keep all this in mind. I have my eye on a maroon 2.0 16v with 70,000 on the clock (h-reg), which seems to have been well cared for. The owner was asking £3200 for it, but I'm not sure wether he's still selling it. watch this space...
  21. if someone could get me the merchandisers details, that would be great, as i plan to put loads of corrado graphics all over mine when i get it (only joking boys, i'll leave the tacky jap styling to majiks effort!) no, I wan his details as i'm interested in joining ccgb and i want more details.
  22. I live in York, And I know of at least 3 corrado minded individuals, so i could contact them davidwotsonok about a drive, but we'd still need more people. thing is though, I'd need to go in someone elses car as i might get a beating for turning up in a modded saxo (ahem!)
  23. :D cheers guys, your opinions are good, any more pros and cons about valvers would be appreciated
  24. does anyone know if there is there a vw / corrado enthusiasts club in yorkshire?
