Rado is now sorned for the winter! Really been thinking if doing a conversion! Very tempted down the 20v turbo route.

Well Iv been spending! 17" genuine BBS RC alloys! I'm over the moon with how me rado looks now! Lowered the front another 10mm also! Let me know what you think!

Came out of work other day and parked next to my works van was a L reg blue VR! Spoke to the guy was well canny!

Very nice mate! Iv got a 2ltr 16v also, would defo advice drilling the airbox if uv got a K&N filter fitted, gives it a lovely tone when giving it some beans!

Little update fitted my new discs this morning, totally different car to drive now! No wheel shake now when braking! Finished my vinyl wraping and re fitted grill!

New discs!! Now no more vibration through the steering when braking!! Also bin busy tonight trying out some vinyl wraping, let me know what you think?

Yeah I have heard about ppl changing them. I will invest! Bought a new set of discs for it today as mine are warped!

Girl friend says " well it's abit old n square, and looks like the car off back to the future" I wasn't very chuffed at that!

Update, done a few things recently, fitted a K&N filter and drilled the airbox to give it abit more grunt! Got wheel alignment done aswell n it's 100 times better!

Little update done a few things to the rado in the last couple of weeks! Had to change the radiator thermo switch which was abit of a twat of a job had to remove the whole radiator to get to it! Also got a bargain off eBay for a power rohr which Iv now fitted gives a nice tone high in the revs! Here's a few photos enjoy!

Hi all got a problem with my fan on me 2ltr 16v rado. Noticed when I was driving about other night that the engine temp was slowly creeping up to bout 100 and higher! Didn't think this was right so lifted the bonet to discover the fan hadnt kicked in! So I removed the cable from the rad thermoswitch and crossed a piece of wire between the plug terminals n hey presto the fan started working! Then last night went to cross a piece of wire between the terminals to get the fan to work again and nothing! All I'm getting now is a click comming from the fan relay everytime I make the connection! Any ideas??? Cheers Graeme

Thought you guys would appreciate this, check out what I found on a bottle of polish in me dads garage!!

Cheers for the replys guys! The all red rears where actually done with a spray on tint! Basically I bought a spare pair of lights off eBay, which I got for 99p + delivery bargain!!And so I could keep me originals as them would be MOT friendly. Giv them a real good clean, mask off all the black areas only leaving the lens exposed and gradually apply coats to the orange part of the light! Just giving them a light sand down Inbetween coats to get rid of any orange peal effect that you get off spray cans, I also gave the bottom red parts a few light coats of tint just to freshen them up. Then leave them to really set, remove all the masking tape and apply a few coats of clear lacquer sanding with very fine sandpaper between coats! Again leave to dry then give them another final sand over to remove and blemishes. I then used Maguiars ultimate compound which is a paint cutting polish and that really brings the shine out in them and a final coat of polish ontop! The only issue with all red rears is that indicators and reverse lights now flash red, but it can be over come by buying a led kit, which is next on shopping list! Cheers Graeme
