Why did the japanese kid drop his ice cream? Because he was hit with a building...

Has anyone removed the long plastic runners from their roofs? if so can you stick some pics up of it as i'm not totally convinced... been given the idea of doing it by someone on here but not sure if it will be an improvement aesthetically. Thanks :D

More bodywork, finished the rear wiper and i decided i was sick of the primer so i bought some tornado red and started priming and spraying the sections i've been working on. (going to get a full respray eventually just want it to look half decent till then) Also buffed up the spoiler which took the fade away! when all the bits of the car are sprayed and blended i'm going to give the car a good clean and polish and see how nice it comes up :D

Ok as promised i've now removed my rear wiper, filled the hole and blended it into the bodywork to hide the embossed bodywork. Pics attached, opinions welcome :D

I'm after a g60 wheel with half decent tread to be used as my spare. Looking to spend about £25-£30. Thanks Steve.

fitted new carpet, cleaned all seats and shell underneath seats. fitted new stereo and worked out which speakers are shagged (5/6 of them) -
When i start the valver it revs up to 2,000 revs and then drops down and cuts out? was working fine a week ago and the only thing i can think of is that i unplugged a hose to move the airbox and forgot to reattach it before starting the car. (its reattached now but now the above problem occurs...) pic of hose attached. Any help appreciated. thanks.

More sunny weather today so interior fully refitted after a good clean down of the shell, looks a million times better! Also fitted a stereo and worked out which speakers i need to replace so thats next on the shopping list! Painted the vents matt black for now untill i get my respray (below) Also started to smooth over where i had removed the rear wiper, Going to blend it to make it more subtle.

Looking for a boot light, is this one? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Genuine-VW-Golf-Jetta-Passat-Foot-Plate-Light-NEW-/110598876701?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19c034ee1d#ht_1245wt_989 they've named it as a foot plate light which is whats confusing me... :D

Brilliant, i'll start saving :D Update: Got some new indicators to replace my mouldy old ones haha, massive difference for such a small part! Also got a very very good condition carpet yesterday and finally fitted it, sorting out the centre console rattle at the same time :) Pics below of how bad it was before to how nice it is after. Next on the to do list is to get some upholstery cleaner on the seats and get them back in, and then i need to get hold of a space saver and a parcel shelf. Pics: BEFORE AFTER:
