hi everyone, i changed my front brake discs and pads today ( used EBC red stuff) the new pads came with a sensor plug on it, old ones didnt have one so i chopped the wires off. anyway, i took calipers off took carriers off swapped discs pushed caliper piston back and put the new pads in. all bolted back together pressed brake few times and all was ok. when i droe the car after about 5 miles there was a knocking noise from the front passenger wheel. i parked up at home puzzled. then i took it round the block to see if it was still there, it seemed worse, now i am thinking if i tightened the carrier bolts up enough. any ideas what it could be?

Remember hearing about someone ordering some a while ago and i think 3 came in black and 3 in red, VW you've got to love em sometimes lol they got changed to all red in the end they could have said "harlequin ht leads" lol :nuts:

do you have a part number? also i have been told that part number" 1j0998031" were red leads for thr mk4 r32 which fit the corrado vr6 as an upgrade. any info on this? :confused4:

is that the only option? i did need them quick. was hoping either vw/TPS or euro carparts.

hi the clutch went in my vr6 storm so sent it to thegarage and told them to give it a service as there was a slight misfire, he rang me saying there was a split in the ht lead. where can i get a set of red ht leads from as i have seen most vr6's have? also someone said to use r32 ones as they have small loops that make them easier to pull out, any help will be ace, thanks again

any update on this as i have a vr6 and have just purchased the inxx single lifter and not to sure how to fit it

so do late vr clocks have 2 plughs at the back? also do they have the vaccum thing at the back aswel?

hi can someone show me what a late set of vr6 clocks should look like? i bought a set off ebay it has single plug at the back and a vacum pipe thing (like my mk2 8v gti digifant) also at the front there is a black plastic round bung like thing next to the clock adjustment buttons, do these belong to a vr6? thanks, rishi

hi everyone i have a slight proble with the corrado, i cant put the key in fully into the drivers door lock, now i have to lock/ unlock the car from the passenger side. i first thought it was frozen but i have heated up the key, sprayed de-icer into it and i have tried wd-40 but still no joy. any ideas what it could be?

omg i just paid about 30 quid for bottle and cap :censored: looks nice tho :?
