C5 OEM Matching set is pure class.
-
Diesel Junior, That's right. You can get the headlight level one now but the high voltage stickers available from this supplier are a little different to the existing one on my car as is the tyre pressure one. They are only a couple of quid each.
-
Diesel Junior, Nice result and photo shoot. Check out my stickers thread if you fancy sourcing the two missing from the top of your radiator cover. C5 OEM, You have an addiction! I'll race you to find a Campaign model! After seeing James thread I can’t get it out of my head!

Guys, Just had Dan from volkswagenstickers.co.uk come back on my e-mail saying that he loves this kind of request asking that I send through some more details on size etc and he will get on to it, result! I'll keep you posted on how I get on with this.
-
Diesel Junior, I think it looks better in the picture than it actually is and I'll be going over it a few more times. I just used a kitchen scouring pad and some oven cleaner as well as the Meguiars engine clean. I like the wire brush idea.

Gents, Thanks and my pics show the correct stickers and in the correct place for my 95 VR6 storm which I assume is standard across the VR6 range, I just wanted to replace them as they are a bit tatty or coming off for the respray. I have now sent an e-mail to the supplier listed above and will let you know what they say.
-
swiftkid, Will give that a go today unless anyone can come back with an alternative supplier. I'll keep the forum posted. Thanks.
-
VR6Pete, Thanks. As mentioned above I notice that the tyre pressure and high voltage warning stickers weren't exactly the same, did you just take the closest match ?
-
Bullfinch, I’m not long back from a couple of years in Singapore and used the de-humidified storage facility on offer from GTM (url attached) just perfect and cost around 130 per month. http://www.gtm.org.uk/ Hope this helps.
-
Can anyone please let me know where I can source replacement stickers I have picked up the attached supplier via a good search of this forum but they only seem to provide exact copies of the fan warning and headlight percentage stickers. I still need the tyre pressure and high voltage warning stickers if available. Thanks for looking http://www.volkswagenstickers.co.uk/index2.php?cmd=search&cat=16

Guys, Further update. I've now spent several hours giving the engine bay it’s first clean in 16 years using Meguiars engine clean (3 bottles!!!) and Meguiars engine dressing (1 bottle) and think it has came up pretty well with some before and after pictures below. I will probably go over it again a few times and if I can build up the bottle I’d like to copy some of the other forum members and actually remove bits so that I can give it a proper clean. The next job is to get the underside of the bonnet cleaned up and I’m going to again take the lead from some of the other members and see about replacing/restoring the catches, stickers etc depending on cost and availability.

James, I really want your car! The Campaign interior is just perfect, although dare I say that you should stick the original steering wheel back on! Mike 2006, This is my bog standard interior which is lovely but I would have preferred the leather Recaro seats if I'm honest!

Thanks Diesel Junior. If you like this thread then you re going to love C5 OEM’s thread, that guys attention to detail is awesome. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?49025-C5-OEM&highlight=oem I've attached a couple of pics of the dash with the tape holder fitted. Not sure how many storm models have a tape deck fitted instead of the CD player and to be honest I would have preferred to have the CD but the chap who bought this car new requested that it be supplied with the tape deck instead of the standard CD player !?!

Further update, Took the car back to the VW dealers to replace the pipework around the PCV valve and true to their word they replaced it free of charge. OK it was probably them who bust it whilst completing the service but it must have been on it's last legs anyway. I expected some hassle here but left a pretty happy customer. I haven't had much time to do anything with the car the last week or so but have bought a few bits ready to fit post re-spray. List now includes Tape deck (second hand) - fitted and looks much neater than the standard storage space Safety kit (second hand) - hopefully never to be used but just for completeness Front indictors (new) - both the current indictors are cracked Rear wiper cap (new) - the current one was broken and discolored Rear lights (second hand) - one of the current indictors is cracked Door rubber (second hand) - tried to buy new but unavailable from dealer Roof rails (new) - not cheap but both the current ones are bust Carpet runner (second hand) - one of the current ones has a broken end Window trim (new) - one is distorted and both will be coming off during the respray I did also ask about the external door and back panel rubbers at the dealers but was advised that these are also unavailable so I guess I'm just going to have to give the current rubbers a bit of a clean and refit after the respray. They are good condition but depending on cost I probably would have just replaced with new if available. Will post a few more pics when I get the chance.

Hi, I'm after a cheap set of speedline alloys for a 95 VR6 but have to be straight and good condition please. Thanks for looking.
-
Thanks coullstar, it's starting to take shape.
-
Shrek, Hi. Hodaz was advertising one but I suggest you just stick out a wanted add, this route has also proved successful for me in the past couple of days where I managed to source a tape deck.
-
Guys, Some pics of the cleaned and conditioned leather.
-
Guys, Some pics of the restored wheels.
-
RW1, thanks again, now managed to source and buy one of these.
-
Sam, I managed to source one of these things elsewhere so thanks again but I've now got one.

THE Corrado Forum 2.0 FEEDBACK THREAD
nsmjl02 replied to Andi's topic in Site Comments and Questions
Andi, Great work and site. Just a thought for your next upgrade. I really liked this facility from another site to help view a particular model or find out which cars are located near by. http://www.928.org.uk/locator/list/index.htm Sounds like you are a busy man at the moment but maybe one for a rainy day. -
Quicky1980, Thanks for the reply and will get back to you if I'm unable to source a mint one without any broken bits.

Hi, I'm after an original tape holder for a 95 VR6 but has to be mint condition please. Thanks for looking.
