Scuttle clips? That always snap removing the windscreen scuttle? What's the size limit on scanning and printing? I'm trying to find the small handbrake plastic cover with no joy at the moment, is that too big?

Hi, Avoid Southern Car Security. They were recommended on the other thread, so I had them (Miguel) install a Toad Ai606 on my VR6. Seemed to have done a good job, removed an old live alarm I didn't know about and the old immobiliser. However, after driving it for a day and having no battery issues previously, it was parked for a couple of days and the battery was completely dead and unrecoverable. I phoned Miguel, and he agreed to come and check it once I got a new battery. However, once it arrived he wouldn't respond to phone calls, texts or voicemail. After nearly 2 weeks trying to contact him I gave up and took the car to The Phirm, who sorted it for me (thanks Tim). The interior light was not turning off after locking the car, so absolutely his fault. Cost to me about £100 extra. I will be emailing them to complain but don't expect any response. If they do I'll update this thread, but for now, AVOID!

Hi, Apparently there's a strap that holds the spare wheel & jack (and I guess the toolbox if I had one) in the well. Anyone have one they want to get rid of? cheers, Em

Thanks for looking - how about £20 posted? The driver side bit of mine has a large crack, and there's the risk I'll damage the other bits removing them as mine are stuck down too, so happy to take the lot as spares. Can do PayPal or bank transfer...

Hi, was at Phirm RX body shop today to get a quote for some bits for my VR6. The owner, Chris, asked if I wanted a good condition (ie no sagging) rear bumper. They are going to bin it otherwise, I don't need it, so if you do, call them on 01252 794700. Colour is dark blue, not sure exactly what. Same shape as my K reg VR6. Hi, I'm pretty sure I've got one, lens is definitely OK but the plastic bit that holds the positioning screw is broken. I'll try and find it in the garage tomorrow... Em

2 recent spots - a red VR6 (M-reg, CVA??) driving eastbound on the M4 about 4pm on Sunday 10th July. Very clean. Then another VR6, N-reg (DCC?) Blackberry I think, driving into Blaenau Ffestiniog this Sunday afternoon just gone (17th July). Again, looked really nice.

sparks, I'm really sorry, you did get missed out of the final list as the last person to pay and it was my fault. I was paranoid that this would happen, hence my many updates on the thread, but I guess that didn't suffice. Not much more I can say except I cocked up, I have refunded you but not much consolation I expect.
