Hi, Looking for a working window control unit for a late-model VR6 (part number 191 959 875). Can pay via PayPal or send a cheque... Thanks, Emma

Hi, Having similar window issues to this thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=48770 (electric windows only work when door is open, I also have sunroof and reversing light issues as the fuse keeps blowing). The suggested fix is a new window control unit. Can I fit a B3 Passat unit (part number 357 959 875)? I think the bracket is different, just wondered if anyone had done the same. I phoned VW and a replacement unit is about £160! I'll see if anyone has one here in the Parts Wanted section, but wanted to check as an alternative. Thanks, Emma

It's yours, just need to make absolutely certain that the replacement leather interior will fit OK :-) I'm around all week except Saturday, so let me know when suits you. Will PM you our details.

Hi, just in case anyone is interested before I take this to the tip. A full grey cloth interior with door cards, driver's seat a bit worn but otherwise reasonable condition. Material has green/purple flecks like a late 80's suit - nice! Free to collector, we are near Yateley, N. Hants. Alternatively if anyone has a suggestion that's better than dumping them I'd be grateful. Cheers, Emma

Anyone? I really would like to get the car back on the road. Alternatives at a similar price range seem to be the Spax VSX and Weitec Ultra GT kits. Thanks!

I wish! Budget is £500 or less, the Koni kit was about £360 with discount.

Hi all, I have a broken front spring on the old Spax kit that was on the car when I bought it - the springs were not evenly compressed and it rode very harshly, so we always planned to change the suspension but now it's urgent! The Phirm (who are local to us) recommended a Koni STR.T kit, as we wanted decent ride comfort and handling (wheels are originals). I've tried ordering it but apparently Koni are changing their products and there is a 6 week wait (at least). The car is up on axle stands and we really want to get it sorted. Can anyone recommend a decent alternative to the Koni STR.T kit? Good everyday ride quality on normal UK roads (which is to say bumpy ****e) and a reasonable stance on the standard Speedlines. Thanks in advance, Em

Thanks guys, have mailed twin45 as first poster, hope that's OK.

Hi, I have a 1994 green VR6. Had it for a couple of years, had a bit of mechanical work done by the excellent guys at the Phirm, plus a bit of bodywork where needed. New suspension is also on the cards. However, the next project: I have some time off work, plus a leather interior to be fitted. The plan is to strip the interior and also try and fix a few issues. I am not experienced, but am fairly logical and practical (computer programmer and Maths student), and reasonably good mechanically (done a lot of bicycle mechanics plus a bit on my motorbike). OK for a girl, anyway :) Anyway, major issues are: 1) Windows do not work unless the doors are open. The fuses have been replaced several times, the windows work for a bit then the issue recurs. I think that something is causing the fuse to blow repeatedly. 2) Sunroof works intermittently. 3) Heater controls are sticky (I've seen the Sticky thread...) So, I guess I'm looking for advice in terms of what order to tackle these jobs, any real gotchas or things to definitely do and not do. I've got plenty of time, my plan is to make lots of notes/labels and take photos as I go along. Any advice welcome! Thanks, Em

Hi, I'm looking for some of these, the previous owner put a really heavy replacement in for some big speakers, and the metal hangers are bent and broken, plus the trim is pretty tatty. Don't have to be perfect, almost anything would be an improvement over what is there! Car is a late model VR6, black interior. Thanks, Em

Hi, I'm looking for the parcel shelf supports (the interior bit that the parcel shelf sits on in the boot, on each side between the parcel shelf and the body/back seat, not sure if they have another name). I can take a picture if you like. Also the cigarette lighter, and sunroof switch (if light grey). Thanks! Em
