  1. Well, heres my solution to broken number plate plinth luggs, its a bit scrappy but it does the trick. I got rid of what was left within the plastic circle and Q-bonded a screw in its place. Thats is some good shiz, dont get it on your hands tho

    seatbelt rail?

ok so this will probably sound stupid and noobish but what does this thing do? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Corrado-Seat-Belt-Rail-and-Motor-Offside-/160575039018?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item256304a62a
  4. Yeh, for one I like that since I bought it ive only seen one other on the road and countless mk2 golfs :D
  5. heh, im used to it :) So far it seems very similar to a golf mechanically, Im hoping soon itl stop taking my money at such a rate, already replaced sh!t loads of things, im prepared tho, already got a spare set of heater controls... just in case ---------- Post added at 11:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:08 PM ---------- yeh paintwork is ok, theres a few spots that could do with a touch up, This is the one car that I can see myself splashing out on a respary for one day.
  6. After 7 golfs it was time for a change, So I found a Corrado. I bought it off a dude on this forum and I couldnt be happier with my decision :D When I got it there was plenty to do... Heater controls didnt work, Water pump on the way out, Thermostat stuck, Exhaust wasnt put on too well so knocking plenty, Drivers door didnt like being closed, Split CV boot, bah, bored of making lists, there was other bits and bobs, most of which are done and sorted now. Just as personal preference I got nice new mats, gear stick gaitor, fitted an immobiliser and just tidyed it up really. Also added one of those all in one scuttle panels, pretty expensive but im pretty happy with it. Annnd I bought some clear/red rear lights which had horrible chrome bases so I sprayed them black and also did black borders round each lense, I think it look spretty good, its not as tidy a job as it looks tho Still plan to replace the wings when I can due to some rust where some mud flaps used to be. Anyway, here it is :) ---------- Post added at 10:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:57 PM ---------- Worth adding that I have gone from having lots of money saved to borrowing money off my brother to last me until payday because of this car :D

    headlining

easy? hmm, well it wasnt especially hard but it was long winded cause I had to take the steering column out which proved to be a right arse to put back in, and then the new switch didnt work so I had to get yet another and do it all over again :D

    interior light

Anyone got a wiring diagram for the interior light? I need a wire that goes live instantly upon opening the door and a wire that earths as you open the door, I'm after one off the fuse box rather than the door/doors

Anyone have any experience fitting one to a corrado? I'm attempting it now with my mate, he's a pretty good machanic but is slightly baffled by the thousands of wires, we need a go to guy if we get stuck if anyones up for it

    Bonnet Lifters

this kit takes the ****, the first set was missing the ball attatchment so fair play to the dude, for free he sent me another strut, but this one really doesnt have the movement to move a bonnet all the way up, the angles just dont work, no point, not doing it end of unless someone can suggest a set that works with a late spec bonnet, straight fit?

    Bonnet Lifters

Ok I bough ta bonnet lifter kit and after scratching my head for a bit I looked on here and apparently I have the wrong kit as its a single strut and I have a late spec bonnet, so im lead to believe I need a twin set.... so first things first Where can I buy the correct kit cause I cant seem to find one How does that weird ball joint thing work? Also, I have a single kit if anyone wants one
