How do I go about getting ahold of this 'G-man' How much did it cost you for all of that g60bv?

Painted hmm...How much does this paint go for? You dont have to do any polishing before you paint this on? Just get all the oil and grease and stuff off? Sounds pretty easy, and your engine looks really clean!

how does everyones stuff look so clean? I tried cleaning my supercharger and stuff up...it just doesnt shine like that...I was thinking of maybe getting paint or something for all the cruddy looking metal pieces? Is this a stupid idea? Does anyone know any good high-heat paints?

Alrite....I dont know much about cars....and everyone on here seems like they know a ton...so pardon me if this is a stupd question.... The person i bought my Corrado from put a Flowmaster truck muffler on the car....And it sounds loud as hell from a mile away...My neighbors are begining to become upset... My sister has a 93 Passat that she trashed last week..all smashed up...annnd...I was thinking ide gank all the parts that i could off of that and throw them on my car before she got rid of it..and...she has a stock muffler on there...i was wondering...Could i take this muffler off and put it on my car? I know her sunroof fit my car just fine. :? Thanks for any help...sorry for the sillly question. -Alex

Where do i find one of these parts to attach another air filter to my charger.....And how much would it cost...in US Dollars.. It sounds like something thats not so major that if you didnt like the way it looked or performed, that it could be easily changed back? What do you do with the boost return hose? Just disconnect it and leave it dangling in the engine? Or do you take it off completely or what? Does the supercharger make a hissing noise when it shifts when you do this mod?

Banana Man....i was wondering what the boost return mod is that you mentioned.....Do you just remove the boost return pipe? What do you put on the hole that the boost return pipe attaches too? if you leave it open, wont all kinds of dirt and crap get in there?

Im having the same problem with my car...I think? I bought a timing light...attached it to my battery, and clipped it over each spark plug wire, and none of them were getting a spark...and then i attached it to the wire from the starter coil to the distributer...and i wasnt getting a spark there either...So i bought a new starter coil, and im still not getting any spark...Im in the process of location the hall senderr at a vw dealership...Im not even sure thats whats wrong, but i guess im just going to end up replacing every part untill its right...Any ideas where the hall sender is located and how i can check to see if its working correctly? Thanks for any help.

Still no luck in finding what the problem is with my car... What is the 'hall sender'? And where is it located in the car..Engine?...Ive had problems with my car stalling out and not starting before...and it was because of the fusebox falling down...I had the car fixed by a car electrician, but ive just noticed the fuse box isnt in the same place it was after it was fixed....Is there any fuse or wire down there that could inhibit the car from starting? Im starting to think ive been knocking my foot into the fusebox when i shift...Any ideas?

You think problems with either of those would cause the car to stall while i was accelerating down the road? I had to get the car towed because i wont start up now...It turns over and everything.. I tried putting my foot on the gas and starting it up, and nothing happened...If the fuel pump was working, i would have atleast smelt gas right?

Alrite, well i finally put my supercharger in...and then my power steering belt broke...So i got the power steering belt put on, so i could go fast AND steer...And now out driving tonite... im accelerating down the road, and my car stalls....RPM's go down to zero, and then it started up for a few seconds again...RPM's went back up, and then it completely shut off again...and once it shut off this time, it wouldnt start back up....The car turns over but wont start....My dad said he thought it may be a fuel pump? I have had idling problems since ive owned the car...Seems like it goes up to 200 rpms and then back down to 110 or so, over and over. I dont exactly have a ton of money to go throwing around on parts that i 'think' might fix the problem...Has anyone ever had something simliar to this happen or heard of it? Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated. Thanks.. -Alex

Do you know of any 'back boxes' that are medium loud when you gas it, and semi-quiet when your on the highway? Possibly under $200?

I dont know what you mean by system...Do you mean a brand new exhaust and everything, or just the muffler part...Im on 17 and i cant really afford anything more than 200 bucks ha. Are there any supersprint mufflers for cheap? Any other ideas anyone?

Alright, well...I bought my corrado a while back..and the dope that i bought it from had put a flowmaster truck muffler on it....and somehow he liked the way it sounded. I could put up with it when i was rebuilding the charger..but now that its back in the car, it gets loud awfully fast. So now im looking around for mufflers. Ive looked around for some websites that let you hear the mufflers.....havent been able to find any...Any ideas? Im looking for an muffler that isnt as quiet as stock, but, a little louder...but nothing obnoxiously loud. Something that if i gas it, people cant hear it from a half mile down the road, but something that will hum at low/medium speeds, and sound normal at highway speeds....My neighbors tell me they can hear me start my car in the morning (idling), and they live down the road...Anyhow...If anyone can suggest something like this, ide greatly appreciate it.....Sorry about the long post.

The people I bought it from said that ide need to cut a hole in my exhaust pipe, and weld this piece that i bought into it or something like that....Completely unneeded?

I just purchased an Autometer Phantom Boostgauge and Air/fuel gauge....the people i bought them from told me that i needed some kit to hook the air/fuel gauge up to my car....so i said fine, add that in too. It ended up being about 100 bucks extra...So i was wondering...Is this kit needed? Is there any way i can do without this? I heard it could be done without. If anyone has an air/fuel gauge, or any info on installing this, ide appreciate it, thanks.

I just orderered an AutoMeter gauge book...and i looked around andddd a used supercharger for my G60....The person i bought it from says it puts out 8 lbs of boost and im planning to get a smaller pulley for it for Xmas...Ive been looking at the gauges in the book and ive decided that i dont want a 30psi gauge cause the needle wont go anywhere....So i was thinking maybe 15....Would a supercharger putting out 8 lbs of boost now with a smaller pulley on make more than 15 psi? Should i go with a 20 psi gauge? Also...does anyone know where i can find backlit 15/20 psi gauges? Autometer only makes them in 30 psi. :(

You have any idea where i can see pictures of these type of gauges lit up in the dark? Ive noticed autometer has some called Lunar...where the whole back is lit up...They all look pretty similiar during the day, but ide like to see what they all look like at nite.

I've been looking into getting a boost gauge and a air/fuel gauge to mount on the A-pillar of my Corrado...Ive looked around and ive found a lot of boost gauges that go up to like 40 psi or so....and i know my Corrado wont be getting that boost...So i was wondering if they made gauges that went up to like 20 or so? Also...ive noticed different styles that are back-lit, or reverse lit.....do the normal ones have a small light in them anywhere at all? If anyone owns any of these gauges, ide appreciate some info on them. Thanks. Also...if you know where to get a dual a-pillar pod to fit a Corrado, please let me know, thanks again.

Yeah...thats what it looks like...One of those "displacers broke right off right where it attaches to the charger half....Is there any way to just buy that part of it instead of a whole other charger? If i knew how to put pictures up in the message part like that.....ide try to do it...

When i turn my headlights on....from time to time. they will actually stay on, but the majority of time, they stay on for about 4 seconds, and then completely turn off...Any ideas?
