cheers for the help i have the same problem .... LOL with the heater lights all corrados heater lights don't work the sunroof slide never works the elec wing mirrors never work!!! LOL i love this car i allways tinker on it every sunday....

with my head unit it does not turn on when you start the car.. you have to press the power or ource button to turn it on... then when i switch the car off the headunit stays on..... this is only anoying because it is a sony flip down eadunit which is motorised and i have to wait for the damm thing to flip down|!!!!!!! :mad: btw when installin the head unit i notices some bodyed and dogy wiring behind the headunit... maybe the periovious owner ****** wit the wiring please help and also does your head units need manually switching off and on.... cheers

I got the best one LOL ok i was doing like 25mph in a 30 speed zone and up comes behind me a riced up clapped out nova with all the spoilers and stickers and crap with a exhaust held on by a paper clip (you get the picture) proper rude boys like 10 in one car so it was a long straight and it was clear so he starts to over take me. When he is parallel to me I gently squeeze my corrados pedal. At this point we are doing about 40mph. still as he tries to match my speed I match his speed. Then a car in the distance appears and I drop a gear and boot it this point my corrado is in its full posing state electric spoiler goes up and I smoke him 60-70-80-90-100mph (road was private) now all I can see in the distance is nothing. I come to a set of traffic lights and guess who behind me (the nova) so I look in my mirror and both doors open and the guys get out and start walking towards me. so in perfect timing the lights change to green... I dip the clutch and rev to 5.5k and drop it... the nova boys were left standing in the road being laughed at by the other drivers. While they choke on the smoke my yokohama A539’s made now that’s a story......

any way guys i don't know why my car like this but all i know i wanna show you guys at ace cafe one day if i can get a tuesday off work!!! :mad: i wanna show up alex... i can't help it when i put my foot down the wheels spin (even without reving even creaping along with the cluch fully released and then flooring it just goes then when i slam it into 2nd starts spinning still..... and yer as far as i know the car is compleatly standard it has also done 103,000 miles..... :twisted: :mrgreen: ohh well what does a VR6 run at?????? also the car is a K reg 1993 so what is the speedo will that be electronic or cable????.....

this is the rolling road for my STANDARD 2.0L 16v i scaned the paper in so it's probs rubbish enjoy note 175.4 BHP as standard ?????? bit high anit it

errrr it has a kjet fuel injection system no carb thingy... maybe i'm wrong!

i duno as far as i aware the bloke from eurotek said the onlly kit on the market was the Stroeve kit also you can change the cone filter to a K&N but the size might not fit...... when my comes i will post pics

na mate eurotek does them i phoned them up and they got 30 odd systems imported from germany endof this month.... what happens with this is a little plastic trap sits under the metering head and below this is a cone filter made by Stroeve then what happens all your breather pipes and all the other stuff still gets attached to the unit and work the same as the orid.... but with added BHP and INDUCTION noise!!!!!!!!!!! what we all want!!!! what they also suggest is to add loads off ducting and other ways of getting more air into the filter since the filter is hidden beind the lights :? c ya

errrrrrrrrr phone video camera goes only for 5 secs......... damm stupid phone... i will try and get a video later from my DV camcorder.

ohh yer i'm on 15" wheels..... maybe that makes a diffrence....

hey guy i will make a video prome my phone today sometime with the speedo and yer i supose it is nearer 7secs mind you from standing without reving up floor it and let the clutch out normally wheels start spinning then into second still spinning and about 5.000 stops spinning then in to third then its at 60..... anyway i will make a video...... i will post laters

i own a STANDARD! 2.0L 16v corrado and i thorght the standard 0-60 time was 8.8 secs as standard... follow link corrado specs then follow the corrado spec then stock specs... mine does it in about 6.5 secs which is faster than a VR6 ???? this is not possiable..... ohh well i think there is nothing to worry about... i guess maybe there is mods which i cannot see like ECU and stuff.... well the person sold it as standard so i guess it is.. but the bloke in the past removed the CAT and put a straight pipe there but now it has the CAT back due to MOT purposes please submit your 0-60 times and a list of mods which you've made cheers

:D i'm 18 and very happy to own a 2.0L 16v corrado in tornado red!!!! looks nice in the college carpark LOL :D my last car was a ford escort (which was my first car) 1.3i LOL very very very slow compaired to my Corrado... see ya ------- chris
