  1. Optimism - I like it! ha Yeh the boost return did seem rather oily and the charger end, at the throttle body end it seems to have a very thin layer of silvery oil again. - as if the silver oil has come from charger, through intercooler and into boost return.
  2. Hi, thanks for the reply! isnt the kluber grease white? i can see some of it looking through the inlets. Also no oil should be coming from the exit at all anyway? - Meaning an oil seal has blown again / was never actually repaired (I'm not a huge fan of G-Werks these days!)
  3. Having a bad bad day... Noticed some silvery oil spray over the distributor area and found it was spitting out of one of the rsr outlet pipe connections. Taken the pipework apart and its coming from the charger exit. The oil in the oil feed to the charger is clear, as is the oil return more or less. The boost return pipe is quite oily (from breather?) but again is more or less clear. So it seems oil is clear going into the charger and is coming out via the exit kind of metallic/silvery. I had this problem before when i first got my G60 so sent the charger off to G-Werks to be part rebuilt in July/August last year. They said it had popped an oil seal and that the metallic oil wasnt caused by anything in the charger, and that its coming from the engine but I can't see how it is when the oil feed is clean oil. Only re-installed it and had the car back on the road last week though as ive been at university and it was winter etc. And its only done about 240 miles so far - kept under 4000 rpm. Anyone shed any light on what's going on please? I've waited so long to actually drive the car and it's been perfect until now!
  4. I'll be at university so wont be able to attend at Krispy Kreme unfortunately. Are any of you going along to the CCGB agm this weekend? I've never had the experience of an R32 Corrado in the metal before!
  5. Ah i know Godalming quite well, will be working there over easter. Krispy Kreme meet *cough* in April before the 20th *cough*
  6. I actually live near Woking. but I'm at Durham uni at the moment. What about you? I have not seen a Corrado around Guildford for a long long time!
  7. I will be up for this depending if it's during uni holidays! ... and if my rado's on the road.
  8. I'm hoping to get over to it this year too. Wonder if there is a group of Corrado owners going together on here?
  9. Hi is that subframe etc sold yet? I'm home from university now so could pick it up if it is?
  10. Would you believe it I sent another email today and got a swift reply, and I believe it's all sorted now as a refund from their card supplier is being processed. HSBC on the other hand are a right pain and it seems they have a very limited number of phone lines into their Visa Chargeback department! They also don't send emails or ring you when they promise. Should finally be able to finish off the Corrado when i get back from uni this christmas though now :)
  11. I know the "G-Werks Bust?" thread has been closed for obvious reasons but... I need a Letter of Ceased Trading from them to give to my bank in order to claim money bank. After not being able to contact them I have already tried trading standards, companies house and the insolvency service but none know of G-Werks having ceased trading! So I'm just wondering If anyone has had any luck with contacting them recently? And/Or claiming money back? I'm only a student :(
  12. I can recommend from experience one at The Timber Yard, Lucas Green Road, West End, Woking, GU24 9YB I believe there are two bodyshops there but it is the one straight ahead of the entrance to the yard.
  13. PM'ed but realised should be public so... If at all possible please could you let me know how much postage would be for the subframe to near Woking, Surrey? Otherwise would you be able to hold on to it for me until I get back from university and can come collect it just before christmas?
  14. They still owe me a Mocal oil cooler for my G60 :( Darren has always been a helpful guy though.
  15. Hi, Did you find an answer to this? Cheers
