Are the rear number plate lights supposed to be on constantly even when the other lights aren't? I'm pretty sure the answer is that they shouldn't be, but I've had a look at the wiring and can't see anything obvious. Any thoughts? Cheers:bonk:

Wow very tidy, my big question is, having owned my motor for a few months now, how could anyone not want to just drive and drive and drive these amazing cars!! The mileage is amazing

I can't decide what to do, I currently have all black badging on mine at the moment but was thinking of going back to original look. Everyone keeps saying to stick to black but I just don't know....

I had the exact same thing happen last week. Two relays, fuses and fuse holders sorted it. Water caused the corrision. Good luck

Cheers Rob I'll give it a whirl.

It might be a simple enough answer but how do I get the door panels off to get this plastic exposed?

Hi all just to update, I finally got the beam sorted. As suggested by you guys water had corroded some of the parts, it needed 2 relays, fuses and fuse holders. Many thanks for the advice .

They look great think I will be doing the same to mine!

Thanks guys I have had a look and it is definitely an upgraded unit, there is a plastic bag wrapped around the wiring loom to obviously protect it from moisture which clearly hasn't worked very well! I will try all the things suggested tomorrow and report back with my first attempt to do some car DIY. Thanks for the advice guys much appreciated.

Hi, had the car a few weeks and have my first problem. I'm not really techincally minded so this may be a quick fix but hoping someone can point me in the right direction as a starting point. Was driving the other night with full beam on, then it went dark. Only the side lights were working. If I turn full beam off I get the dipped headlights working fine, but flicking up to full beam just puts me to side lights. I've had a quick look at the fuses and they don't look to have blown but maybe they won't always looked burnt? THe rear number plate lights were also flickering and have now gone out and the interior light around the cigarette lighter flickers like a disco ball. Don't know if they are all connected or just co-incidences.. Any thoughts? Cheers.

totally, what a road and what a car to drive it on. Think that will go to the top of my list of roads to drive, just hope I can get a sunny day to enjoy it all the more!

If you are able to get one, you will regret it if you don't it is amazing! ---------- Post added at 12:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:05 AM ---------- Thanks for the welcome I am like a kid at xmas right now, totally loving this car I was very lucky to get such an original well looked after example. I am in NI and thankfully bought it from a guy 10 miles away. Thought I was going to have to go to england to get a decent one.

Hey all finally bought myself a Corrado after 10 years of lusting after one. Picked up a 96 VR6 with 160k miles, full service history and 4 grand spent last year on it worth of new parts. Very excited with it, sounds awesome, spoiler, sunroof etc all work. Will work on the profile to say what it has etc and will get more pics added. Here is to some happy motoring. Ben
