SOLD :) hope you enjoy it buddy!!! 2.0 16v | White | Orpington. Kent Price: £2400 Description: PICS TO FOLLOW THIS WEEKEND Time has come to sell my Corrado after 16 months of ownership as i need something with a bigger boot! Bought the car from a dealer last year and the car is totally original bar the headunit as i needed something with bluetooth in it. The car is totally mint - nothing aftermarket on it at all and has full service history with it as well as all its past MOT's - bar the current one which runs til next August as thats all computersied now, but i do have the printout. Over the past yr ive done the following: Cambelt changed New brakes front and back - pads and discs Brake fluid change Servicing inc spark plugs, rotor arm, dizzy cap etc. 4 new uniroyal rain sport pro tyres - still look new Car is pretty clean for its age, though could do with a proper wash and wax to get it looking back to its best. Bar 2 pin dents in the drivers door there are no marks to the metal work. Rear spoiler works fine, as does sunroof. Front splitter is unmarked showing no cracks. I also have a new light switch and updated wiring loom which i bought but never fitted which will be supplied with the car. Also a new set of philips nightbreaker bulbs as well. I did 2000 miles over 4 days in europe and it was abslutely brilliant. Also have a set of KR cams which i bought, and a new clutch which i can include at the asking price. Any questions - please ask. looking for £2400 - or would consider a PX against something quick - hot hatch/bmw 330 etc. Riyaz 07956 816432

Id be keen on a set of these too..
-
If these are still available.. would love one in black!

Thanks for that info!!! really useful! Ive been looking about...and the arches are about £90 to have done both sides... The rear tyres on the car at the mo... have such a mad stretch id be concerned to drive on them! Think i wanna go for minimal stretch as i dont know much about tyre stretch and am a bit cautious! Think i would prefer to have the arches rolled... and not worry! BTW - does having stretch tyres affect insurance in anyway??
-
Right .. Picked up some Borbet A alloys for my little toy yesterday - but the rears have SERIOUS stretch ... and need new tyres anyway. Just wondering what tyres i should put on them to avoid serioues stretch - and also whether im going to need to roll the arches? Figure before i spend any more money on them ill get some advice re the alloys - as if its gonna be a pain on the corrado ill sell em on!
-
Looking for the back box for def... mine is black! Anything else is a bonus!
-
As above really ... must be clean and no holes or rust. cheers!
-
M500TOY - saw u yesterday and u gave me a wave - my first ever recognition!! I was in a white corrado
-
Right .. Kenwood headunit was fitted this afternoon - and speakers bought. Some stunning JL audio bits ... but!!! wont mount properly as too deep so having to rethink that little plan unless they are fitted in from the front with some 9mm MDF spacers.

more a case of i have the DIY skills of Homer Simpson ... and also have very very little free time. As a guide - done 300 miles in the car since i boguht it 6 weeks ago! Im more BIM (Broke It Myself) then DIY. Plus ive never had a corrado before - and the one i bought hasnt done much mileage in a few years so i want someone to give it a once over and let me know what need fixing. Need to sort the lumpy idle out ... and change the accelerator cable for starters.

Guys, I need someone to have a proper look at my 16v - get it 'right' before i throw any real money at it changing bits. Been told Alan Hills in Crystal Palace is very good - and thought i would see if anyone here has had dealings with them? I want to keep the C for a while... so want it running really well and need to find a company who know what they are doing with it - who wont rip me off!
-
Right... Amps have been bought ... And yep - dash speakers will be disconnected def dont see any point in keeping them going forward. Just need to get some front speakers now, headunit and some dynamat ..... then time to start stripping. Will change the rears for some alpipne 6x4's as they dirt cheap and just to provide some rear fill

Ta very much!! got mine today... looks awesome!! -
Nooooo... Front components DEF being amped!! Otherwise totally agree - be an utter waste!! Really gutted talkaudio forum for sale section is utter crap these days - used to get some great deals in there!
-
Yep!! I was looking at your thread a bit earlier - realy like the way the components sit there - neat and tidy!! Prob go the same route, but after some reading maybe wise for me not to bother with the rears (though some back fill isnt bad)

Paid yesterday :) Not sure i really needed the switch - but can pretty much guarantee if i dont buy it mine will break - though it does already have a crack in it! -
Im about to start doing the audio on the car and want to do it all in one go - so new headunit, front speakers, amp and sub I already have the sub - a diamon audio 10" which is beautifully boxed. Plan is to let the headunit run the speakers in then dashboard and the rear ones (which will be changed for macaudio units), and have a 4 channel sub bridged to run the amp and the front speakers. Does anyone have any advice as to what front speakers are worth going for? Def want components and am considering some Hertzx Dieci 13's as i dont want to be messing about with door builds and spacers for 15's - unless its an easy fix? Also - whats the mounting depth like? Had probs in the past on cars where speakers never sat properly. Thanks,

Money in the post tomoro bud... my paypal acct now unfrozen!! -
Still getting to grips with my 2.0 16v ... but have noticed at idling speeds the car is really jerky ... not nice and smooth. The rev counter seems to sit just below 1000, but yesterday the car started cutting out on me a few times when the speeds dropped, and thts a bit unnerving!! Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing it? Or do i need to just up the idle speed?? And if so.... how??
-
Sorry for my utter ignorance - but TSP/VAG??? what/where iks that??
-
i always forget that bit ... 2.0 16v on an N Plate!

Hey all, Now starting to sort out my car, and one of the first bits i need to sort is the accelerator cable as its mega stiff. Reading through the forum it seems this is normal. SO i called VW and the price i been quoted is £40 ... and the gromit is 89p - this differs a fair bit from what others have said as some are saying £17 on here - eurocar parts said £24 - but special order, and no idea if the gromit came with it. Where did u guys get your cables from?? And other key question - how hard is it to fit?? I got a VERY basic mechanical aptitude - is this something i can tackle, or should i pay to have it done? Thanks!
