  1. few interior pics, needs a lot of work lol
  2. looks nice, sounds like you have as many problems as i do with my 16v!
  3. the guy who had it before me was going to rip out the engine and use it in his caddy and weigh the corrado shell in at the local scrappy. list of problems at the minute.... no interior apart from two front seats and drivers door card and two harnesses sunroof broken and leaking window seals leaking wipers not clearing screen electric windows don't work every time handbrake does not hold well even on the weakest of slopes/hills handbrake ! warning light mostly lit all the time front drivers coilover needs adjusting missing lip spoiler dents and scrapes on most panels no spare wheel exhaust blowing a bit (also too f***** big!) front wheels need spacing out a bit heater matrix leaking radiator pipe snapped off and drinks a few litre or so every trip i can live with this though as when near the redline i have a beaming smile :smug:
  4. nice looking motor, will keep an eye out for you on the road.
  5. Here is my shed, saved from the scrappy and swapped for a mk1 golf i could not afford to fix up. i love her very much even though not a lot of things work on it, i plan to get all the faults and problems sorted but this will be a slow process as i'm pretty skint. its a '91 1.8 16v with 189 thousand on the clock. here are a few pics, i will post up the faults list and what i intend to do later.
  6. replace broken radiator get serviced/tuned get the coilovers setup properly/spacers, geometry etc remove rear wiper sort out gear knob! get windows fixed sort out sunroof/replace with tinted glass tilt one - - or glue a carbon roof skin over top get door fixed get new hoses/leads for engine induction kit rear roll cage get a spare wheel/jump leads/petrol can sort out dents/scratches etc sort alloys out get mk1 wolfsburg gti steering wheel new buckets up front refurb harness's tidy/braid/conceal all interior wires get front mats (bare metal is too slippy lol) that will do for the time being, track racing will be next year maybe :)
  7. drove car into a house. elec windows stopped working. slow flat on front tyre. i dare not write the rest of the list out in fear of RSI :)
  8. sounds good, when do you fancy meet? i ahve just been paid so can afford to stick some juice in the rado, i don't mind where we go - the bowgie in crantock is good for beer and a group shot. i would say the mermaid in porth too but the carpark is full of massive craters!
  9. cheers for the tip, i shall make a few enquiries and get that sorted.
  10. tasty, colour and wheel combo look the nuts :)
  11. Hello Elliot, the car had too much potential to see it ripped apart for spares! i would of got the interior back off him and maybe tried to get the car back to standard concours condition but i aint got the cash for that kind of project and once i had driven it stripped it was so obvious it had to go down the track route and just get the rear upper strut brace and a cage. with everything inside removed the sound when approaching redline is great, massive grin. feels light and responsive but having never owned or drove a corrado so it could be driving like **** :) once alex has drove it i will let you know what he thought it was like with no interior, he will know what the difference felt like between the two and i will know how rubbish the car is running compared to one that works properly.
  12. will get some pics up in a better location after a clean at the weekend. priority to sort first is the broken radiator and get the exhaust sorted (gasket or hole somewhere). other bits... remove crusty bonnet lining delete rear wiper put 5mm spacers on the front get upper rear strut brace tidy up interior wires and paint inside black get mate to make rear roll cage sort door handle out fix heater matrix tidy up body work dinks/dents/scratches lots of other little bits all over the place :bonk:
  13. nice one mate, i will give you a bell next week - im on decorating duties at the house until then. cheers, ben.
  14. i had this problem with mine not closing on the passenger side, i got it closed by using a screwdriver to wind back a metal bar that was getting stuck when it was closing.
