  1. Nah they are all like that Me, I personally love the MK2 Golf. IMHO in a GTI guise its the best car VW ever made. I can't see myself going for too long without having one in my life. That said out of my MK2 and Scirocco, I love my Scirocco more. I'm never getting rid of it, genuinely a car for life. But I've no plans to get any more Sciroccos. I've not driven my Corrado yet, but dat ass makes me know I'm gonna fall in love with it.
  2. White one, not sure what flavour, going past Sainsburys in Kidderminster today around 11:30
  3. White H reg around Tenby area Saturday. Drove past you 3/4 times at various places and times! Was in a MG unfortunately.
  4. Cheers dude. I also have a MK2 Scirocco. Have seen 2 or 3 Corrados out and about in Kiddy. Think I see yours by Sainsburys the other day too.
  5. Ahhh OK, will have to have them posted then cheers. Again, let me know how you want payment, ta.
  6. Will take them. Paypal OK? Where are you based in case its local and I can collect.
  7. Did these sell? Very interested.
  8. Ahhh, bodywork. Yup mines looking rather sorry for itself because of this lol. Either way, shall keep my eyes peeled for a local meet. Cheers dude!
  9. Cheers man, plan on doing some shopping for parts next month, wiper motor on the list. ---------- Post added at 9:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:26 PM ---------- OK, so funds are a bit stretched this month so I've started the cleaning. Every panel gap, seal and scraper scrubbed to remove 18 years of moss and filth. Looking much better. Unfortunately, my car has the common problem of the rain gutters falling apart? Hear these are no longer available from VW too? After this, more pointless cleaning. Removed all lights and various trim to clean behind. Example, before... And after cleaning and a quick go with a compound and wax, refitted the light unit... This was done across the rear. Again, amazing how much crud was there. All light clusters received a scrub with a brush and a quick polish. Fitted a new bee sting seal... And got my rear badges black. A mod that I love personally as I find the chrome effect a bit cheap looking... New number plates to be bought from Edition next month. And finally started a job I really wish I hadn't... Not the most interesting of updates but I do love a good detailing session. Ta for looking
  10. Sound, looks like I'll have to get creative. Ta for the input
  11. Sounds good man, count me in although mine won't be on the road for a while yet.
  12. Yo, got a couple of gauges gathering dust in the garage so was wondering if anybody has bought these? Any good or a bit flimsy ect.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170605546032?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_1977wt_932 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170605577843?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_2027wt_932 Or are there other options, aside from the mega expensive OEM unit, available? Cheers for any opinions.
  13. Ahh nice man, lovely round that way. I went to different high schools tho so looks like she is safe ha! ---------- Post added at 10:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:27 PM ---------- Ahh shame dude, sure to catch you at a show soon tho no doubt. Failing that I'll certainly be making a trip up to Euro to get a few service bits.
  14. Hey all. So here we go with my latest toy. As said in the newbie section. The engine is great, same for the gearbox. Electrics are a touch dodgy but her main issue is bodywork. A few pics... Scuff on the front bumper, planning on getting the whole bumper painted... Rear panel damage/scuff... Various vandalism... Aside from that, some serious clear coat peel on both wings. Only rust is again on both wings and currently only surface rust. Bodywork can wait for a bit, mainly as I'm currently in no rush to get here on the road. Saying that she is taxed till Nov and MOT May 2012. Will most likely start with the oily bits/general faults which are... Heater only works on number 4 - Guessing its the resistor? Drivers electric mirror not working although I think I can hear the motor moving so hopefully a quick fix The immobiliser sometimes stops the car from cranking, very intermittent problem but a pain. Wipes constantly blowing the fuse when changing speeds with the stalk. Passenger door pin sometimes not rising when unlocking car. And naturally a good service and deep clean. Alt belt is looking somewhat frail too. Hoping to have a few hours on her tomorrow, will post up any progress Cheers for looking
  15. Hey dude! Been a while! Yeah, still got the Scirocco, been so long can't imagine life without it ha! You should bring your Corrado up to Cosford on Saturday, keep Eric and co. company! Hey dude, I'm from Kidderminster, but I promise I'm not a pikey  Ta for the welcomes
  16. Yo, names Alex, I like Metal and Hardcore music, Tottenham Hotspur and I've recently got my hands on this... Will post better/more pics in the appropriate gallery section soon. Engine is very good/strong. Electrics could be better - keeps blowing the wiper fuse and the factory(?) immobiliser likes to play up sometimes. Bodywork is where she is let down. Showing the scars of 10 years of commuting into Birmingham. Nothing that can't be fixed. I also own a MK2 Golf GTI and a MK2 Scirocco running a 2l twin Dellorto engine. Look forward to posting in here. Cheers!
